Yeah I think Sol is indeed Dizzy's father. If you lose to I-no, That Man says "Hmm. You have his face..." referring to some ambiguous person. Then he says she is the daughter of Light and Darkness. Sol is called the something of corruption or other, and with his appearance here within this conversation-- I can only imagine that to be the truth. It would explain a great deal as to why Ky and Sol manage to put aside their differences in Overture as well.

1:01 if you go up to ino for that particular version of that attack and jump straight up as soon as you see she is going to shoot , you will completly avoid the attack. I tried it and it helps alot. Don't jump over her or you will get hit alot by those things.

For player who can't win with I-no:

First of all, start combinations with forward+P, cause it let's you could avoid hits somtime.

Second, If she is standing, end combinations with crouch+dust before doing Ice Spike, because it has longer reach than regular HS, and is better for long distances.

And learn how to avoid her Megalomania. "Warning signs" shows the way her attack goes. Jump over it or go under it.

And NEVER go behind I-no while she performs it.

Enjoy beating the hell ot of her :P

Sol Badguy CANNOT BE DIZZY'S FATHER.

You know why?

Dizzy is half-gear, half-human.

Sol Badguy is a gear.

Justice is a gear.

Therefore if Sol Badguy was the father, Dizzy would be 100% gear.

Which she isn't.

The father is canonically unknown, I'm tired of these theories where everyone and their mother is Dizzy's father.

In either case it is unlikely Sol was involved with conception. Ironically a more likely individual (though no more so than Sol considering circumstance) is Justice's other nemesis; Kliff.

To add to that, Dizzy herself says Kliff resembles her 'father'. Biological father or her adoptive one is unclearified. In fact, it's not even clear if Dizzy remembers her real father, she seems to know that Justice is her 'mother', or something akin to that for a gear.

All speculation however, as the quote was from a post-battle arcade match, so your canon mileage may vary with that one. Even Daisuke says most of the dialogue strays from what he originally intends. See Axl = Raven theory.

But the mystery is that Ky wife, which is the daughter of Justice is the "key" to access the cube, which needed the cells of the first Gear, Frederick or Sol, implying that they're genetically related.

Also, we don't know what kind of daughter Dizzy is. In the official chart, her arrow to Justice says "Calls Mother." but the arrow is one way and not reciprocated.

To be honest,I think Sol just intervened in memory of who Justice was. If you look at Sol's third GGX2 ending, he ends up fighting a possessed Dizzy after she defeats I-no. I think this ending happened and then Sol's third ending. That explains Sol's picture at the end, and the shared dialogue of both endings. IMHO, I highly doubt Sol is Dizzy's father.

"The three of us" refers to her , That Man, and Frederick, who was a scientist who worked on Gears. Sol's two wings and tail are his Gear form, which, if you see it in Overture, looks nothing like Dizzy's Necro Install. Dizzy also has two wings and a taill at all times.

My conclusion about the possible father of Dizzy: That Man takes some DNA, data, cells or anything from Justice and implanting some human sperm, making Dizzy born.

If you really really REALLY can`t beat I-no in story mode just do what I did, choose which ever character you fight with in training mode and choose Gold: Sol or Gold: Justice on the hardest difficulty setting with full burst and tension bar and try to beat em.

....If you haven`t smashed your computer or xbox in a few days try I-no in storymode again, you most likely have her dead so fast that you didn`t noticed you were fighting at ALL....

Just for a heads up. It is possible to dodge the guitar blast (the one where the room goes dark and she shoots the balls at her). Just be close to her, but not too close and just jump right when she releases them. It saves health, trust me.

Dizzy doesn't have an IK. But really, turn the game on beginner. Just clear the story mode, who cares about what level it's on. =)

You get Gold powers by holding L1 and pressing Dust to select your character. You only can get Gold powers for a character when you've cleared their story modes. Though there are some attacks that can't be done even in Gold (like the ones you are referring to). Those are AI only, sorry. =(

I found out that during boss I-no's guitar blast, the one that covers most of the screen, you can dodge it by simply going up to her and double jumping right before she shoots it and it misses you completly. Just a helpful note

Beat Faust without using an Overdrive attack. When you fight I-no again (by again I mean in her level... the one in the video), beat her (hard... but possible). Then, beat her again in the next fight.

With Sol's Reactions with Dizzy and this ending, i begin to think Sol is in made Dizzy's father.

So perhaps Justice was human before who married with Sol (oldly called Frederic) and Dizzy is their child and after a tragic event, Justice is become the big robot that we knows all.
