Favre wanted to make a smart play to the outside, but Vilma read the play before the ball was hiked and called the audible to everyone. Favre wanted to go to the outside, but the Saints defense had his guy hemmed up, so Favre got desperate. Dumb as hell, no doubt, but the defense did have a hand in forcing that stupidity.

But an exciting season is something that as a fan, will always stick with you. I could care less about the NFC championship game that culpepper started in, but I will always remember the brett favre season and the "dumb ass" pass he made. Sanchez almost had as many INT's as Brett did with almost 200 less attempts. The NYJ defense allowed 1000 less yards this year. The Jets TEAM changed. It wasn't just the addition of a pretty boy USC qb that did it.
