  • Love to see Jamey laughing !! God bless !!

  • I have AS and can see what Jamey saw in tree, it so obvious your son loves you, you both look so happy at the park

  • While many with autism are obviously disabled; there are many, including me with AS who are "should be able to work", stuck in the middle.

  • It kind of makes me wonder "what the hell does the govt. know about what's best for one's health? What does Obama know about what's best for everyone?" If he wants everyone to have health care, then he needs to make sure we have the money to help our children and those with disabilities.

  • :') What a great kid. You are a saint for taking such great care of him <3

  • I don't think Obama is judging autistic people. It's a bit much for you to say something like that. Nonetheless, I love the videos you put out. Your family is courageous and has a lot more strength than average Americans do.

  • @jazcor I don't think Obama is judging them either, but the people he appoints to healthcare would be, thus making him responsible for the outcome of injustices, if any. Hopefully, there won't be. Truly, I don't think Obama administration understand this type of autism, and it's not their fault, nobody has presented it to them. Like any adminstration, they have a 1000 things to worry about, and unless special issues like this are clearly shown, they don't get it.

  • You send a great message to many people. This video shows such a strong human spirit and emotional expression, so much inside that wants to come out.

@1:44 he Made me cry, again.

I understand what this video is about and It makes me sad beyond words, yet very inspirational at the same time, Thank you, and keep fighting for justice!!

  • amen

  • No offense intended, but insurance companies are no better than any government run program. Corporations are who control our healthcare system now, and they are anything but our friends. Instead of depending on the bureacracy of a government or the tenticles of a corporate entity, we need to care for those in need. I contantly hear that America is a Christian nation. If this is true, we need to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Do unto others as you would wish them to do unto you.

  • @groovysherrie65 No offense taken. I agree. I'm a Christian (though I think last week I lost my Christianity as I swore profusely at a nurse who left our autistic son (with epilepsy) in bath my himself....but I get what UR saying...if we are such a "Christian" nation, it seems odd we have countless homeless, disabled, elderly, widows, orphans who constantly suffer. Churches need to build group homes for disabled, elderly AND reduce times spent talking about how to help the poor, etc.

  • @kgaccount KG, I am in agreement with you. We must do better with our disabled, elderly, widows. They should have treated your son better. I have Asperger's, mild autism, I could compete for jobs when the economy was in good shape. Now, with this bad economy and this mild disability, and in my 50's it is a nightmare trying to get a job that pays a halfway decent wage and provides the health insurance benefit.

  • @groovysherrie65 Groovy Sherrie, I absolutely agree with you. HR-676 would cost less than what we now have, and cover everyone.

  • What a great video? It's so beautiful. Great job.

  • I'm a 22 year old male and I'm not ashamed to say I tear up a little from your videos. It's so obvious that your son loves you and you love him even through trying times. Just wanted to say I feel strongly about autism as a medical condition, and everything should be made as easy as possible for you from that standpoint. You and your family are saints and have my unyielding respect.

  • This video makes me wish i could help you. There isnt anything i can do at all, but if i could do, i sure as hell would do.

  • Obama Care is a joke. It help absolutely no one that have REAL problems.

Btw your son is an amazing person, actually you're whole family is. =] I really hope that you guys find the help that you need.

  • Your son is BEAUTIFUL! I have a son who was born with Autism, He is 3 now. He looks at the trees and just gets lost in them and the leaves blowing in the wind. He has been that way ever since I can remember. I always think it is so cute when he trys to put leaves back on the trees. God bless you and your family.

  • I absolutely love the clips of you tickling Jamey. His smile is so amazing:)

  • God Bless you and your family. I hope you get the health care you need. I live in Canada and I am not sure what the plan is for autism, but I do hope you all the best and that everything goes in your families favor!

  • As a mother who has witnessed chronic discrimination against autistic people in the government run system...let me remind you: Discrimination and neglect is subtle. It is not "get the f outta here and go die." It's in the form of DENYING your child treatment, DOWPLAYING their needs and "IGNORING" realities of their medical condition. Can this change? Yes, parents of autistic children and individuals with autism must change this because we revolve in the world of autism....this is what we know.

  • Have you found the corporate sector to provide better, more accessible health care for autistics in your area? My experience thus far is that my corporate insurance doesn't cover much.

  • Yes, if I fight hard for what my son needs, and sadly, I always have to fight. But I don't give up. I usually get what I need for him even if it's like gurrella warefare (ha ha) ie..endless faxes, emails, phone calls, whatever it takes to get him what he needs....it's exhausting....but right now, there's no other choice...I do a lot of research (gather evidence) to back up my requests for help, that seems to get more services..becuz it's based on truth, not me just asking to ask.....

  • News reports show it will cost about 1 trillion dollars to run obama's idea of healthcare so...some in congress, in an effort "to cut costs" favor "comparative effectiveness research" (cre) which will RATION medical treatments to people like autistic persons with complex medical and behavioral issues that RELY on comprehensive, and perhaps, a bit more than usual, medical treatment....this is no joke. Don't think for a second that some in high places resent disabled, including autistics..

  • I thought Obama DOES speak for autistics!

  • Obama, like many politicians, would love for you and I and everyone to believe that they speak for us, but they don't. They only say what they have studied to be answers and speech that they think you and I want to hear. Obama knows who is voting. He tries to cover the bases. Touch on each topic depending on the amount of potential votes. Autism has a very big advocacy following. So, of course, he will learn a few things, just enough to tickle our ears and get us to like him...It's all bull shit

  • Obama is a fool that should never been allowed to become the president.

  • nice message.

    absolutely agree
