  • History is only ever "believed" correct. History is generally very one sided and that one side is usually told by the winner. I cant remember who said it but "never let the truth stand in the way of a good story".

  • Ahh--that's why Princess Anne looks so good in those riding britches.

  • It's obvious Queen Charlotte was a Mulatto just looking at her portraits I don't understand why some would deny this fact. Light skin, Hazel eyes and Light Brown curly hair she looks like quite a light skinned Afro-Americans here in the U.S I imagine it's the same for Afro-Anglos living in London or Manchester,England who are of mixed origin.

  • I find it quite interesting that in many different reports about the life and ethnicity of Charlotte Sophia, she is referred to as a "consort". She was the wife and Queen of King George, and yes she was mulatto. It came out of Queen Elizabeth's own mouth. I am quite sure she has researched her own lineage.

  • we need 2 all come 2 the realisation that the english royal family as direct links 2 the mother land and these actual facts remain to be obstructed from the view of everybody who learns about english HIS-STORY. this is a white wash of actaul events rather than a realistic depiction of what really happend in the past. i have 2 take my hat off 2 all the historians who have tried there hardest 2 keep these truths hidden u really got us there!

  • so if we have already established her racial persuassion was of african orientation why are these vital facts masked and even worse not included in the national curriculam within are childrens schools? this is a blatent white washing of actual historical events. how interesting is it 2 know that whilst blacks where slaves 1 of our very own sat in prominence on the throne of england.GOD is sufficient as judge but one cant help but to have conjecture and contempt with this version of HIS -STORY

  • @fireskys1 - She wasnt just from a black lineage, she was a Hebrew!

  • She is pretty i seen other pics of her.

  • this womens mother was very black

  • Black?

  • George and Charlotte Sophia never met before the eve of their marriage.

Prince George's mother, the Dowager Princess of Wales was NOT aunt of Charlotte Sophia - where does this man get his facts? And of course he has a captive audience...

  • So every one who disproves the fact that Queen Charlotte was a mulatto will deny the words of Queen Elizabeth whom she admits of having an African Ancestry ? she is a lier too? she wants to be Afrocentric? racist people are incredible they believe lies instead of facts ,because they are racist and don't want to accept the truth.

  • Even this day some Royal guys are married to black women and have mixed kids , so more black ancestry in the European Royal family. Most European men have a thing for black women even those days.America is not like the rest of the world.

  • People back then who knew her described her as a true mullato, yeah they said she was a mullato.I heard white people said Melanesians are Chinese and Korean not black , lol , i thought it was a joke , so that means Oprah is Chinese also because she looks like Melanesian. If you have dark skin , kinky hair , full lips , you are black .They don't want the black race worldwide to unite.

  • Aridaemus , Queen Elizabeth said she knows she has African Ancestry and she didn't even denied it .Only the racist people don't want to accept it .Queen Elizabeth also said she is also part East Asian , she knows it and accepts it why not you?

  • they got her looking jacked!

  • Umm, all mankind has descended from Africa. We've all got a little bit if we go back far enough. Like it or not.

  • that looks nothing like Charlotte Sophia. Her nose was broader. she definitely looks like a light skin Black woman you'd see today.

  • Her being part African isn't a matter of conjecture, it's a matter of fact. Not only was she part black, but her entire family branch was black. She was thin and lovely, probably why she was chosen as queen to George III.

It's astonishing the lengths that people will go to disprove the proof of history.

Contrary to popular belief the monarchs of Europe were aware of the AFrican Monarchs and visa versa. It was not uncommon to have an African "at court" if you know what i mean.

  • Absolutely. The African Prescence was known very well in all times of Histories for Trade, for war, for exchange (slavery in Russia; Rome, etc., but not because of their skin color, humans were thought of as work horses in General) for Politics and as you put it, for 'Court' ing. There was no distinguish of a group of people, as 'that' group of people unless they really pissed the gov't off, in those times. We were all just Humans.

  • @shakaama

where is the proof to back this up because it seems that everyone tries to debunk her culture of blackness. I would definitely like to know the truth. but i am having hard time finding information

  • @WonderWomanFan4life oh you're asking me to pull research from 2 years ago LOL I spent a week researching something else and this was tangental to that. She wasn't the only Black monarch of England. There were several, some much more "clearly" Black. In fact the Moores were all over Europe. It was the Moores [blacks] that delivered Europe from the dark ages and the black plague. It is American white supremacy that tries to erase such history. Blacks were not hated universally, like here.

  • "Mario de Valdes y Cocom, claimed description of Charlotte by her physician, Baron Stockmar describes her as having "a true mulatto face".

Critics argue that any possible link to an African ancestor, black or otherwise, would have been at least 9 to 15 generations removed, therefore no more significant in Charlotte than in any other member of any German royal house at that time. - Wikipedia

  • She had a Muslim Moor bloodline in Germany ... she was called by many English the Muslim Moor Queen of England and the revolutionary war the world wanted to remove her from history ... the 1st President of the United States was not George Washington either .. he was black ... just some tidbits for ya ... and Charlotte was one of the most beautiful women of the world in her time .. to remove her from history she had to be called ugly, short, and had no qualities.

  • This woman was obviously Black.. check your History properly folks

  • @DEFACTO9

everyone says check your history the reason we have to check it is because most of Black history has been erased and hard to find. if you say this and you know something you should basically post the book info or state where you have proof. thats not very fair. Every culture has history but most black history has been erased, damaged, and destroyed, or covered up.

  • Uh? No mention of the fact that this woman was actualy one of several BLACK women in the Royal lineage..FACT and presenter you aint handsome either..fool!..Six different lines can be traced from English Queen Charlotte back to Margarita de Castro y Sousa (black Royals-Potugese), in a gene pool which because of royal inbreeding was already minuscule, thus explaining the Queen's unmistakable African appearance.English royalty has black roots look closely at the queens features today... hypocrites

  • queen charlotte sophia was black and over the years, each painted likeness of her gotlighter and lighter. lol Event he city of Charlotte, NC was named after her and the statue of her there looks more afrocentric than this!
