@ravelength they're actually crotchet triplet flams that have been subdivided in half to make crotchet sixtuplets (6:8). He subdivides the 4/4 time into 6/8 time. The rhythm within that is a type of bembe style accent. pretty legit

@ravelength It's a 3:2 polyrhythm. He's playing every other note of a string of 8th note triplets, with a couple of displacements. It's easy once you take a minute to figure out the math. Starting with a pickup triplet 8th note, and with three notes (x)/rests (.) per beat in 4/4:

Its amazing but you cant play his songs .... if there is a metal song you can play it after practicing some time .... same for hiphop, rock or pop even blues or funk .... Jazz gets difficult but if you actually can play jazz you may get the beat after a couple of time ....

But this song or Far, or Syncopath,.. even if they don't look that complex .... its the feeling,rhythm and groove you will never get to play this sound.

I guess JoJo Mayer is the only guy who can play this song
