  • how the fuck i came from Left 4 Dead 3 to a honking bunny :D but its funny ^^

  • cadburry bunny?

  • you should consider probable health problrms like nose-throat-breath etc.

  • Awww!

  • OMG I didn't know rabbits even made sounds :-).

  • I could see a guinea pig doing something like that, but a rabbit? How bizarre!

  • How funny. We have a white rabbit named Gizmo too. But all he does is grunt.

  • honk honk honk honk honk honk

  • usually honking from a bunny means either they wanna play or that they like you...a lot. They dont necessarily start humping your foot or anything

  • I'm in love with this video! I think I've watched it 50 times now.

  • sounds more like windshield wipers :D

  • wow your rabbit must love carrots =)

  • かわいい~~~♪

  • Weird. I have five rabbits. I feed them apple, carrot, celery and parsley occasionally, and they go crazy about it, but not once have I heard them honk with delight.

  • My bunny honks, too, mainly when he's chewing things. He doesn't seem nervous or anything, and it seems to be something he just... does.

  • if it hasn't been neutered it can mean they are horny, also if they run around your legs in circles etc they want to mate with you

  • i love youre rabbit *love*

  • I know someone who took their rabbit to the vet when it started making that sound. The vet couldn't find anything wrong, just said its under "stress." So, everyone, if your bunny is making this noise when you first take it out of the cage, or take it outside...maybe it is nervous.

  • precious!!!

  • Sounds a bit like Sweep from Sooty!

  • :D TO CUTE

  • My bunny Pip makes funny noises when he eats sometimes. Not that loud though. I only noticed it because he was right next to my head while he was eating. ^.^

  • My bunny does that everytime we take her out of her cage!!

  • @gh0zt36 It takes time. I remember when I first got mine one of them was petrified of me. He was skiddish for close to a year but with time, patience and socialization they will come to love and trust you.

  • Mine kinda whimpers like this whenever I got to take her out of her cage ( which is outside) not too sure why she does it. Someone said it's because she wants a boy but I dont think that's that reason..maybe she's just annoyed....anyone know why?

  • @livearandomlife its a sign of happiness, it's like a cat purring, but if it sounds shrill (you'll hear it, it sounds heartbreaking) then somethings wrong.

  • @gh0zt36 Your bun doesnt hate you, but is annoyed with you. Rabbits are social creatures, and are incredibly communicative, if you take the time to learn what they are saying by their body language. Also, rule # 1, your bunny's cage is his home, his private space. Just as you dont want any one coming and dragging you out, he doesnt like it either. Open the cage door, let him come out on his own. Dont think a rabbit is a soft toy. Respect his space, and let him come to you.

  • aww is this cute or what, its just like he's got a mustache!

  • /user/BurakAksoy10?feature=mhee

  • he sounds like an angry goose. Hahahahaha.

  • sound like he has a hard time breathing... maybe hes got allergies...

  • O, wow, is this bunny alright? Health ok?

  • Sounds like you fed him too many beans. (jk)

  • lovin the veggie :0

  • Sounds like much much Farts :D

  • bukbukbukbukbukbukbukbukbuk lol, could be a cadbury bunny

  • i saw the markings on his face as his eyes and was like wtf!! hahaha. im dumb...

  • THAT CREATURE WiLL KiLL US ALL

    jk so cute

  • MIne does that too to get attention from her boyfriend XD She's a bit hormonal at the moment...

  • My rabbit has never done that, he does honk but not so loud. It could be something blocking his nose, or he could just be a little freaky bunny :) Either way he looks healthy and happy.

  • My Jussi does that when she doesn't want to be put back in her cage. I think that comes from being spoiled every day of her life. Lots of "NOOO! Don't put me back!" grunting.

  • I like his cheeks (:

  • Playing this while my bunny is next to me and is seriously searching the room for the rabbit.

  • @SASORI666SCORPION gigglesnort! Mine did the same thing. :3

  • He might have a respiratory problem, you need to take him to an exotic vet. Since youtube is stupid and doesn't allow links in comments anymore, go to rabbit . org and check out the health section.

  • Fkn annoying!! Only watched 5 secs of it

  • It sounds like he really likes that carrot.

  • poor thing :( , but i c@n tell gizmo came from a loving home :)

  • sounds like a seal and a calf and a weird goose all mixed together

  • sounds a bit like a seal.

  • Looking up other vids that record honking, it seems to happen when they're eating something nice, or just very pleased.

  • I used to have an incredibly vocal rabbit but he never did that!

  • smush smush! :3

  • I hope thats not a bad sound, he sounds like a goose XD

  • I have six rabbits and i have a girl named gizmo and her brothers name is caillou

  • I thought they only made that sound when their in pain?

  • @Bonbondoodle No they scream kinda like squealing

  • Elle, my bunny, does the same thing. She has different sounds for different moods... eating is sort of a piggy grunt, annoyed is a very loud constant honk, and her usual attention-getting noise is a softer little beeps.

  • Is that a good sound or bad?xxxx

  • Gizmo? THAT IS THE MOST AWSOMEST NAME I HAVE EVER HEARD OF, BESIDES RAIDEN.

  • that kind of sounded like my lionhead bunny before she got fixed! she was vicious!

  • Whoa I didn't know they could make a noise like that hah

  • i lost my mini lop cocoa in jan i got her for my 9th bday..she would have been 10 in april ):

  • WTF IS THAT?! XD

  • I'm VERY sorry for your loss. We lost our Pumpkin in January and still miss her dearly. Did they say if it was the respiratory problem that was causing the honking sounds? One of my buns just started making those sounds last night. She looked startled herself when it happened...almost like she was sneezing/coughing at the same time. But it sounds just like that, just intermittent instead of ongoing. For now, I'm keeping her apart from our other bunnies in case it's contagious...

  • OMG HOW ADORABLE! :D

  • my old hamsters name was gizmo

  • haha our bun is a honkey too! mostly when he eats, or when he gets really excited

  • Sounds like a 1930's car horn

  • It sucks how fragile rabbits are, but it's worth keeping them around for there unusual personalities.

  • HONKHONKHONKHONKHONKHONKHONK

  • im so sorry what happened to you'r bunny :(

  • I'm sorry for ya loss man. :(

  • One of my rabbits makes this noise in protest when I give him his oral medication. He has upper respiratory stuff too though. I've had healthy rabbits make a similar noise when playing chasing games. This just sounds like a more nasal version of honking.

Sorry you lost your fur baby.

  • my rabbit has that 2 but she sounds more like a pig im sorry for your loss

  • HAHAH awww!!

  • r.i.p

  • What an endiring noise! I read that he had breathing probs. You must be sad know he has gone? Handsome rabbit.

  • He's got a breathing problem. The human equivalent would be asthma.

  • I've never heard my bun make this noise. it sounds kind of scary!

  • when ever my bunny was scared like if I held her wrong (she was very skittish about that) she wold make this grunting noise that that kinda sounds like that.

  • my bunny makes this noise when hes in deep concentration - generaly while grooming those hard to reach places! ... i dont think its a bad sign xx

  • breathing problems.....

  • Eww it's farting

  • Honk honk. :0)

  • Tympanites.

Might want to check into that.

  • hahaha this bunny is rad

  • I heard that if a bunny honks then its actually attracted to you and you have to have him spayed or nuetered

  • @jjtiojohn12 well actually they purr. It means it's only happy-or wants attention. They...squak when angry tho-it's kinda disturbing....

  • My rabbit whistles, growls, grinds her teeth, can strip flesh from bone in a matter of seconds and my boyfriend learnt the hard way to keep his legs shut when she jumps off his lap.

  • @stupidrabbit100 same my ones called zoe-kate and she bites a lot!

  • oh my god that is the most hilarious noise ever

  • Why does he honk?

  • Wow he's loud D: my bunny's honking's so silent it's hard to hear!

  • no look it up ppl. honking means sexual interest. and if the rabbit grunts it is upset. Not happy. they Purr when they are happy.

  • It doesn't always mean that. It can vary from rabbit to rabbit. One of mine honks when she gets lettuce, too.

  • mine honks out of happiness. but it usually very short and not very prolonged like this. i caught her doing it the other day. it was odd. she sounds kind of weazey but its her special thing. Im getting used to this new one. My other lil boy barely ever makes sounds.. heck he learned to stomp due to this one rabbit i was fostering

  • mine thumps when he sees his reflection in the sliding doors XD he gets so scared

  • mine thumps when theyre upset with whats going on. ooooh thumpy thump.

  • purring? thats cats XD my rabbit grunts when he needs a wee :P (hes potty trained)

  • when they rub their teeth together when their happy its purring. i know its silly

  • @Sporkerella ...unless they rub them really loudly together which means they're in pain...

  • @Sporkerella OH yeah I love when my bunny does that! =)

  • My rabbit do it all the time. My white one does it when she is laying upside down next to me in the chair and when I am slowly rubbing her tummy. It's cute...

  • it might have a blocked airway, get him to a vet

  • it sounds like a donkey

  • it does mean hes happy.

  • 0.0 Never heard a rabbit make a noise like that. He sounds uncomfortable.

  • has he been castrated? he may need done...if not give him til hes about one and he should begin calming or be calm.

  • that means he's happy idiot!!

  • high pitched like that means uncertainty actually...if it were lower and more of a grunt than a honk then it means happiness, he may just be unsure about the video camera etc.

  • Very cute... my bunny grunts when he's happy and running around :)

  • my rabbit, Popita, makes that sound when she's angry, maybe yours' asking you to take him outside for a while...maybe he would like something else to eat....or maybe he just like to "growl", yo kno, every rabbit is different from others :)

  • My bun loves bananas but he also loves apples and plain cheerios try those. He'll calm down a little but thats a rabbits nature lol

  • Why do rabbits do that?

  • its how they let you and other buns know how they feel, honking means uncertainty, and sometimes depending on body language it can mean fear, if he grunts (not honk) in a low tone hes interested and happy. along with other body language he can tell you lots of things.

  • i know, so many people have to turn it to something bad, its so cute, and i bet the vets know better than these neighsayers.....

ive got a cute little dutch bunny i rescued, hes cute but i cant tell how old he is...around a year give or take, check him out :)

  • Carrots makes them fat, and can easily give diarrea.. Only give a little piece, and yes bunny shouldn't make any sounds i should let him get checked

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • adorable :D

  • CUTE! :D

  • The sound could be something to do with his nose, because I heard it while he took the first nibble of the carrot.

  • lol

  • People are SO negative! My cat chirps at birds, so what. Animals sometimes do silly things you can't explain, that doesn't have to mean they're sick or retarded!

  • the people saying the rabbit is sick are not being negative,, they are simply saying it could be possible,

  • my bunny also honks all the time, vets say theres nothing wrong with him :)

some buns are just noisy !

  • The rabbit needs to see a vet. That's not normal at all.

  • This is an indication that something is wrong, for sure

  • @woxiedowg actually it's called cooing, which means they LOVE whatever they are doing/with/eating

  • it aint a sign of head tilt its a sign that their nose id blocked you should see the vet make sure their teeth arent growing backwards(common complaint in rabbits!)

  • My bunny 'honks' when the other rabbit is annoying her too much - LOL!

  • carrot *honk* is *honk* yummy! *honk honk*

  • my rabbit made this noise when he was enjoying himself

  • HAHAHA My rabbit does that too! She started doing it when she was 3 or so and now she's 9 and still does it.

  • isn't that a sign of a nuerological diesease in rabbits? like constant head shakes? its cute, but i'd take him to the vet to make sure he's alright...

  • too cute!!

  • maybe got a talkative bunny, some bunnies make squeak noise when happy too... i got a black bunny... view my bunny clips when u free...

  • so its normal that bunnies make t hat honking sound?my rabbit makes something like that when he ran or my other bunny came near him OR i went to pet him.....i have no idea what that could be...

  • sounds like an upper respitory infection to me

  • Daww.. cute face :)

  • i think rabbits honk when their happy

  • I Guess He Was Just Too Cute For Earth,

God Got Jealous And Wanted Him All To Himself

    xoxox

  • adorable :OOO omg now when i saw htat he died im very sorry :[

  • Our bunny used to do that & we were told that it was the rabbit equivalent to a dog or cats growling.

  • If this was the cause of death he would have died the same day he started breathing that way

  • aww...poor bunny...

  • Ah.. dude.. he lived over a year after this video was filmed.

We DID take him to the vet, where (if you had bothered to read above you'd know this) we were told that while he did have a respiratory problem it was not affecting his overall health. He lived a healthy and happy life for over a year after this video..

So yeh. Shut up and stop trolling.

  • @alexholt321 not to seem rude, but if your vet tells you that sound from a rabbit is ok, find a new vet. I have been raising rabbits for over 8 years now, I can tell from experience that is not a good sound. My current rabbit has the "honks and sniffles" which is from a respiratory infection, just like yours. Without antibiotics it can just remain as a runny nose and honking, but it can effect their quality of life, or possibly be fatal. You took the bunn 'to the vet which shows you care.

  • hrunf,hrunf,hurnf.LOL.

  • aaaw bless, sorry for your loss.

  • woah, never heard a rabbit do that :o but he's cute ;)

  • correction, he was cute

  • gizmo died. :(

He DID have a respiratory problem, however that was not the cause of his death. The vets cleared him of any danger from the breathing, but he died (we don't know how) about two weeks ago.. quite suddenly.

We're very sad... poor little fella :(

  • awe the poor little guy he was so adorable may the little fella RIP!!

    we <3 you Gizmo!!!!

  • @alexholt321 Maybe he died from eating so many carrots!! you don't give a rabbit a WHOLE CARROT. omg

  • @alexholt321 oh my gosh, I am so sorry... my bunny died in my arms due to pasteurellosis. :'(

  • omg poor guy! Did you ever find out if this was normal? Is Gizmo still alive?

  • LOL!!!!

  • Gizmo is obviously having breathing problems, which would not put him off his food. Take him to the vets! Otherwise he'll end up with scarred lungs

  • tourette bunny !!!! (sounds like my boyfriends ticking noises lolol)

  • My rabbit grunts when she wants me to pet her

  • My rabbit only does it when its angry..

  • so cutie:)

  • Awhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did You Hear Him Munching On The Carrot =] Awh So Cute !! ..... lol ....Nd for those people who think there something wrong with this rabbit.... there aint or else he wudnt be eating becouse most times if theres somthing wrong wif your rabbit it gets put of its foood :D ..... still cute rabbit

  • why is he honking
