Hey! Any suggestions for subtitles? Should I use the titles tool? All I see are a bunch of predetermined animated titles that don´t work for subtitles. I need to make subtitles for a short film and have a gray square behind them (40% opacity). Any Idea on how to do that? Thank you!!
I also am making tutorials on FCP X so if you need anything just send me a message and I will answer it in a video. I am very good with computers so I am not just limited to FCP X. Ask me about any program you are having troubles with.
@rook2485 use keyframe i believe that would work i'm also a begginer maybe you're not so don't be offended when i say that but i think if you use keyframe or motion it would work
@rook2485 You'd have to do motion tracking. I am new to final Cut, but have been using adobe for many years. Can be done in after effects very well, but there is a lot to learn. Look up tutorials on it

you can also just double click the clip to drag to the timeline rather than selecting the whole thing. a little easier.

Hey, how would I get my text to stay in one spot as the camera pans across? Like, have it against a wall, but stay stationary as the camera pans.
