Wow. I was an extra for a few episodes of THE NEWZ. I can tell you that it was more fun just to be around and watch these guys. Always super funny off camara too. I would love to find some dvd's of this show but it seems impossible!
I kept trying to tell people about this show and they thought I was crazy. I told them about the episode when they did a parody of Star Trek and Mystro was an ensign and every mission they went on the other ensigns would be killed so he tried to say he was the janitor....on the star ship....it was great. Isn't this the same show when they had skit when the kid went up to the mime and asked if he could make him a balloon animal and the mime replied "Can you bite me"? Great Times.
It's great! I really need to see the bit when he does a report on a guy who got stuck in a swimming pool...... if anyone could post., The funniest skit ever.

This show replaced SNL during its run for me, which was a great feat considering how much I love SNL. The Newz was stellar every time.

I think the Star Trek parody is when Mystro said, "Tonight we're going to party like it's 2999!" LOL! Great show!
