In response to this video, I buy two different blends from my local tobacconist and blend them myself 50/50. I do this in order to get the robust flavor that I'm looking for with the pleasing scent of the aromatic as to not offend my friends. I modify the blend according to my taste mostly; I hardly ever overdo it with the English Proper. I like this idea and will be studying this portion of Pipes and Cigars website more closely in the near future.

So is smoking tea legal for people who aren't of age to smoke regular tobacco? And when smoking tea does it give off the smell/taste of what the tea leaves should be like when mixed with water? I understand that you prefer tobacco over tea, but I would really appreciate it if you did a video on a review of a nice tea leaf blend. Maybe the questions asked by your other viewers because I think there are also many other interested in tea smoking. And @purplemutants it doesn't have to be in a hookah

I just tried the infamous Billy Budd. I am still a pretty new pipe smoker and have been smoking aromatics. Quite a change from aromatics. I like how well it smokes. I didn't get any bite. My aros tend to bite. Through the first half of the bowl I wasn't sure I like the flavor. In the second half I could taste some pine notes, presumably from the latakia. I think I am liking it. I will have to smoke more to be sure. But you may have just won another convert to the BB. C&D should be paying you :P

@MrCaptainNObeard You can smoke just about anything as long as it burns. Of course some things you wouldn't want to smoke. I haven't tried smoking tea but once when I was younger I tried smoking coffee :P

@MrCaptainNObeard There are tobacco free hookah "tobaccos" made with tea. Apparently people smoke those. Although personally the idea of smoking anything but tobacco in a hookah offends me. My hookahs are tobacco pipes, that's what they are designed for. Just like my briar pipes are designed for tobacco. I bet most pipe smokers would be offended at the idea of a tobacco free pipe "tobacco".

My first tobacco shop had a customer listing of customer blends and they would custom blend and help you make your own blend at any time. You don't have any "true" tobacconist in Charleston that could do that for you? I know those services are few and far between and some probably don't carry some of the more extravagant tobaccos. Legal age for buying is 19 nationwide smoking/carrying is 18+ and in some states (mine, Alaska) is 19+
