How did you find this? Mike Williams is my father. He died in 1981, my freshman year of college. I can't tell you how much it means to me to hear his voice.
Wow God Bless you! is there any way that i could remix this song into a newer version? and oh by the way he talks about you on this song at 1:30 hey by the way how did your dad die?
Sorry, haven't been on YouTube in a while. My dad died from cancer in 1981 at the age of 39. As far as the remix, I have been trying to find out who owns the copyrights to the song. I haven't been very successful with the record companies, but I am still trying to find out. Thanks again for the support of is music.
@pathemingway my friend posted this on his FB page and this is the first time I have heard it... What a touching story.... and a wonderful voice... God Bless
@pathemingway thats so crazy. your father is talented. Its bizarre because my dad had me listening to him at the age of 7 and I still listen to him 10yrs later.
@pathemingway You probably know this already, but this song is huge in Jamaica. I used to hear it every Saturday night on the local sound system, and I would look forward to it specifically. It's a beautiful performance.
@noskcidnai Hey my yardie brethren, don't you know that back in the days JBC'S music library was second to none in the world. Remember, Alty Hilton, Dermott Hussey, Winston Williams, also remember Village, Soul Shack, Merritone, Sanatone Mellow Canary, Gemini, Classique. The list of soul music disco was longer than Mt. Kilamanjaro.
