Great review, man. In fact, this and Narragansett have become my favorite American lagers. I'll drink both of those over Bud, Miller and Coors anyday. I do like Old Mil...but, can no longer find it in my area. So, Schlitz and 'Gansett are it! Great review!
Who the fuck does a 10 minute review of a shitty, low end beer like schlitz that tastes like piss? Oh thats right its fat asses like you that have nothing better to do with their lives than sit around on welfare and drink shitty beer all day. Iol I was just kidding actually i just wanted to say that. Im fat too bro.
Nice review Andy. The 1960's formula has finally reached South Dakota. Excellent!
I was surprised to watch your review on the "kiss of the hops" version, and that you preferred that over the 1960s formula. Do you still prefer that over the 1960s formula? I like both formulas, but in my opinion the 1960's formula wins hands down. Quality beer at a cheap price.
@rcandre1 Well, to be honest, after tasting them side by side, I liked them pretty equally. Also, the 1960's Schlitz was my first review ever... so I was still kind of "camera shy" if you want to consider it that. I try to reiterate in my reviews every-so-often that my palate has changed since some of my early work, and some things could use a re-review.
You are absolutely correct..when i first heard they were making the old formula, i couldn't wait to taste it again after so many years...i had a 12 pack sent out west here, and i cried when i emptied the last bottle..but now the have it here and i picked up a couple cases...it 100% rips ass on the other big name domestic lagers, hands down, great beer, start to finish,no bad anything about it,even if it gets a little warm, you still finish it..Schlitz is back, and look out, good by Coors and Bud!

@TheAleReview Haha. Thanks, but I don't have it anymore unfortunately, but fortunate for my reviews because now it's no longer ringing in the background. I let my dad take it and put it in his house.

I haven't had a Schlitz beer in a long time. I remember it was pretty good beer.
