Im an Evertonian and am really not bothered by that result, i'd rather beat that mob in a friendly than carling cup. I think the Brentford fans are looking at this game with rose tainted glasses on, because it was obvious we werent %100 about it, but I guess it is good for unsuccesful teams like that to enjoy succes.

Add to that the fact that 2 of our fellow promoted teams got relegated (Wycombe & Gillingham) and one stayed up by 1 point (Exeter), and it doesn't sound quite so 'poor Brentford', does it?

Leeds are a big team with big money, we cant afford to buy 25+ a season goalscorers.

And as for Everton - they played 9 from their first team, how is that a weakened side?
