I think she is extremely talented and a fine soloist already.. She needs to change her teacher though to refine her way of playing.

With all respect that this be one most amazing violinist, i personally find that these body movements are much overdone and really put me off. That's just me opinion, quite unlinked to any musical criticism. Actually it is admirable such a technique in someone who moves like her!

She plats so well, she is a genius violinsit. How is possible she didn't win QEC, compare her versionwith the one Gatto played in the same competition (and who got the second prize there), she just reduces him to an ordinary student, while she remains a great artist

then we can agree to disagree. there is something that you hear in her playing that you may like and something i dislike. its really a matter of taste. but for riedeslasch saying that she makes gato look like a good student,i don't think so. also when i hear he play this piece, it sounds too forced .

Yes I am agree with you, in this piece gatto is a little bit forced, but what I said is that gattos, performings during the competition where in general better than mayu s, saint saens Ysaye caprice in form of valse, whas a little bit forced, in change of that, havaneisse by saintaens, enescu sonata, paganini concerto, all of them were just fantastyc by gatto

so I never said I dont like mayu, but I think gatto was the best one

but that she has played great in this piece doesnt means she played like that during the hole comp, in QEC you must be fatastyc from begining to end.

also some notes wernt perfectly tuned, and also there were some not proper ritards,, I mean they didnt have a musical reason.

Now gatto is without doubts in my opinion the best violin of this competition, an absolutely amazing comand, musically and technicly,
