I'm thinking about buying this alesis drum kit but I have some doubts and id be glad if you could answer them:

if I buy it directly from rockbandparts do I have to buy something else to use it on rock band?(like an adapter) and if yes, how much is it?

and i also have to buy an random double pedal right?

@lucasadverse well, to use it on rock band youre going to need the guitar hero drumset and a midi cable to connect both drumsets, i had to buy the midi cable but they arent expensive then you just configure the drumset into rock band through midi, theres videos explaining how to do that, you DO have to buy any random double bass aaaaannd its about 1k $ give or take

@lucasadverse i believe they sell the module of the guitar hero drumset alone somewhere on the intrawebz :D, actually i think legslikepistons uses one of those, just the module, then hes got this other thing to use double bass and five lanes on the ions but im not talking about that, try asking him where he got the module from

lower the drum kit. make all the cymbals low, put the rod for the right side that extends out and put it for where the snare is supposed to be. put the snare all the way at the end. lower each tom to at least the lowest and make it vertical. :D

Yes but Disturbed433 just because he is spectacular at Electronic drums doesnt neccesarily mean that he would be good at acoustic drums (Im not trying to be an asshole) just saying. But i do get what your saying about Score Hero and agree completely! Granted i use it, i dont use it enough to like beat off to it like most people do.. lol.

im equally as skilled in an acoustic as an electronic kit, i cant own an acoustic though because of how loud it is so i stick to the electronic, and no people dont beat off to scorehero wtf is wrong with you? hey just so you know those surge cymbals are twice as good as any roland cymbals and the pads are pretty nice too... you can buy 8 inch mesh heads to put on them as well.

not the most professional drum kit around, so you dont have the most diverse of options but it actually works out well for covers and its mad fun, its good for drum covers not great

you'll be fine soon. can't you adjust those drums to be more like your ion set up? i guess it would be smarter if your gonna be doing real drum stuff to have it set up more like you do now though...oh well. i remember when i went from playing RB1 stock to having to play WT kit on both RB and GH because my RB1 kit died hard. and then having to get used to IONS recently. it took about 2 weeks to find a format that i didn't hit rim every damn time. you'll figure it out :p
