On ripping a phone book; It depends on the technique you are using. If you fan the pages it is easy. If you do not fan the pages it is much harder. I do not fan the pages. As for ripping a deck of cards it depends on the cards. All decks are not created equal. It is rare to see someone tear a deck of bicycle brand cards on this site. Most people are tearing off brand cards. Do not get me wrong; tearing a deck of off brand cards is not easy.

I used to work with Scott and have personally seen him rip through the LA Yellow Pages (not a thin book), tear an entire deck of laminated playing cards, bend a horseshoe into a heart, and roll a frying pan my friend and I purchased. Needless to say, his is a number a single girl in LA likes to keep on her speed dial!
