  • Great Content. Well Done.

  • Thanks for posting this video Adam! It really helps to explain the principle well and it's hard to believe that its so simple!!

    Thanks!!

  • Very interesting.

I will give this a try with Zerchers and military press tomorrow. Based on my own experience I certainly believe that a person's body is the single greatest guide to what is right for that person. If this works it will have a lot of ramifications. Looking forward to more information Adam.

  • Interesting concept. I have one question though, and maybe you'll address it in future videos, but what happens if your "biofeedback" tells you to do the same movement every day for say two weeks or more? That would be a recipe for plateaus, possible strength regression and potential injury.

  • Thats an assumption based upon what others have told you. Why would you believe your body would provide positive feedback for a damaging action is my question to you?

There are many things i do daily,as long as something test welll i will do it. in future posts i will expand on this, but make no mistake your body is the only thing you should follow.

  • I didn't even realize you answered :P And forgive my objectiveness. I tend to question everything.

I would argue that my assumption is based more on research done concerning General Adaptation Syndrome, which is what periodization is derived from, rather than what others have told me.

I don't think your body would ever ignore damaging movements. That's not what I was asking. I was just curious how you avoid doing the same movement too often even if your "biofeedback" told you to everyday.

  • I think I should add a little more to be clear what I'm asking just in case. I don't believe your body would ever give you negative feedback to avoid adaptation, because that's what it wants to do. So how do you avoid falling into a rut, so to speak, of the same thing day in and day out.

  • Did you watch the second video?

  • Yeah, I didn't get a chance to absorb it yet. Very busy with final exams. I see you have the third episode up also. I'll get there soon!

I'll be coming through Minot in a week, and hopefully I can stop in at your facility.

  • My question back to you: Why would you think it is a bad thing if your responds well to a given movement day after day? Would you want to relearn to walk every week? No, you want to get better at it. You do not want to reinvent yourself monthly, you want ti improve upon what you have already accomplished.

Question everything-but make sure you are looking for your own answers, not depending on others. Concerning Your own body, everyone else is guessing when they advise you. Its all about YOU

  • Good stuff, the body is ONE machine... Thanks for sharing Adam!

  • This is unlike anything I've ever seen and it is very intriguing.

  • I'm looking forward to it! Similar to what I have been experimenting with.

  • I will say not really. I will cover all aspects of programming here. - Take any person regardless of athletic background and make measureable improvement in their chosen lifts and sports that day. No CNS parlor tricks- very solid. It is SO SIMPLE, but no one is doing this and its time people start. So please stay tuned and continue to feed your thoughts on the upcoming videos

  • Total Motion Release???

  • Bill

we see not every movement has the same result on the same day. Interestingly when you look at what the person does most- small variations and total direction changes make the most impact. Progress is a line, but the object is the circle. So make progress in any direction you can on a given day and you are propelled forward. I will be doing a series of videos going more and more in depth on this topic, i look forward to your opinions.
