yes the background noise was annoying but I got sucked into the music and the ambiance added a quality to this piece that is remarkably correct considering how soft this piece should be played. you all got sucked into this, didn't you?
Please post another video without the backround noise. I would love to acually hear this peice by you. Its so ironic this could be one of the best sounding covers I've heard on youtube and damn that noise in the backround. Great playing anyway man. I love this peice. Peeeeeeeace!! Night Hawk :p
Makes ya wanna yell SHUTUP!!!!! so the guy can play. How could anyone make such noise while Beets music was being played. nd to think Chopin called he and Mozart "Key bangers"??Makes ya think huh?
whoa, dude your way too talented to be playin at a homeless soup kitchen........at least thats what the backround singers sound like....very well played..nice
just wanted to say you did an profound job on this composition. would have to agree with earlier statements the you need to add a little more "umph" into it, but none the less, rythme, timing...all superb.
I think it's done really well, although best if the background is totally silent so we can really enjoy the song. True, add abit more feelings to it, know when to soften, to play louder for the dramatic parts.
I've always been a fan of Beethoven, this song in particular. You play it quite excellently, but I have to agree, it could be more dynamic. You may want to increase some of the left hand changes. They were hard to hear, and you wouldn't lose the desolation of the melody.
I enjoy your interpretation here and especially so with your Mozart video. I like your technique; it's very clean. If you don't mind my asking, where did you learn such effortless technique. Also, why did you post the Maria Joao Pires video? Are you a fan of hers? Thank you for sharing your beautiful music
I hate to say, "play with your heart", but umm ... it's more or less like a robot is playing it. No accents? No dynamics? I feel like if I looked at your face you'd be creepily staring at me with no emotion. And you don't always have to play ON the beat ... good job, anyway if playing like its written is your style.
thanks for your tips Athri.... i personally see this piece as deeply desolate and heart torn, with an incredible sadness about it. the slow, steady take on playing it is one i've grown to love. understated and hypnotic.
i find your point interesting. which performance of this piece rocks your boat?
I play this while im on black ops, telling dramatic stories of what happened in the last game.

Every musical piece on youtube is complete with some random commenter claiming the artist lacks passion. I think someone is jealous.

if this is a restaurant your playing at then okay but if this was a recital, then all those people are VERY rude (all the noise!).
