@DrolKeegEht Well, if you play as Minato you can meet him at escapada after you max your social link with mutatsu. if you play as Minako (female mc) i never met him with female mc, i think minako can make social link him. he always hanging at escapade. On catherine his name is Vincent, on p3p he known as Man drinking alone. Looks like Catherine and Persona 3 IS ONE UNIVERSE.

vincent also says that nightmare is haunting him to minato/ko.

I think those are created through "accidents" through fusing. I'm not too sure though. But I managed to create a Fiend Red Rider through an accident while giving all the gems required when asked for.

Not at all do you need to play the first. In fact the first "Raidou VS" was experimental at best for a Shin Megami Tensei game and is best just over looked. Think of this sequel as just another episodic adventure in the same world...

that being said, this is the most startlingly improved sequel I have played in a long time. I play all the SMT games and never expected that DS2 would rocket it way to the top of my list of favourites.

It is RPG style mixed in with a kind of Kingdom Hearts combat style with a twist.

You go into a battle and you have a gun and a sword. You gun freezes enemies if you fire 6 continuous shots , but after those 6 shots, you'll need to reload.

And then you sword can attack normally, no limits on it. And then if you hold down triangle you can charge you sword and unleash a more powerful attack. Then on top of all of that you can summon 2 demons and command them simultaneously.
