Excellent composition. I always wish they'd of done a bit more on Reds storyline, or maybe let you see how Seto fought and died (a bit like how they show Zachs death, maybe, in increments)
I like it, but I just don't feel the spirit of the drums in this version. It was really the drums that gave me the native american feel of Cosmo Canyon. Just didn't have that spirit in it to me.
@UchihaGamer111 well this isn't the cosmo canyon theme. This is The Great Warrior which is Nanaki's father, Seto's theme. Only played once in the game and that was when Nanaki discovered the statue that was once his father.
@swordo21 I know this is Seto's theme lmao, i'm just saying that the Native American wardrum sound is what gives Cosmo Canyon & Seto's Theme that Native Warrior vibe. If you listen to the song in the game when it pans on Seto the drums come in very powerful. You can feel the heart of Nanaki swell with pride, hell even I swole with pride. You just don't understand.
@UchihaGamer111 Sure I do like the pounding drums, but these quiet ones also add a nice sound effect for me too. You want the drums to be loud and powerful, to represent Nanaki's pride in his father, but these are soft, almost unbearable...almost like the beating of a heart. Seto's heart. Still beating in his cold stoney tomb for his son that he gave his life for. This song isn't about Nanaki...but about his father. And that is why I love these drums :')
@UchihaGamer111 so don't say i understand. I understand very much, however this song is supposed to be more than a prideful memory of a dead warrior but a fathers loving wish to his son which he could never seen again. Point being is that Nobuo made the drums loud so that it would strike the HEART of the player, so that they could almost feel what Nanaki was feeling, the solemn pride of finding out your father wasn't a coward, but a hero, and that you spoke nothing but ill of him your whole life
@swordo21 Lmao all you did was repeat what I said about the drums. I don't understand why you felt you had to comment on what was clearly my opinion. I didn't say the song sucked I said it failed to have the same emotion of the original TO ME. Just shut the fuck up, since you wont respect my opinion and just want me to agree that this version is better then the original when it isn't to me.
1 person is the biggest troll in the history of the universe. No, there is no possible way this deserves a dislike.

I will admit, during this scene, I did well up a tear. It just hit me right in the heart.

This game was filled with more life than life itself. I may buy this cd to support these great orchestral tributes.

@swordo21 It played a second time when Bugenhagen died. Possibly the saddest scene in the game.

Wow... This is so much more beautiful and emotional than the original. Such a divine cover.
Can you do Cid's theme? Knowing your skill, I think you'd make a great cover of it!
