Just because of the CON, you don't judge it that way..

.... there is more to it than CON. A real FE player wants to beat the game as efficiently as possible. (hit toward FE7 and the scoring system with the tactician) That means you DON'T use the tower or the arena since that will slow you down. That means that you have to baby Amelia kills which kills your pace and your combat (since it takes more time to kill an enemy). Also, after all of that babying, Amelia only has decent AVERAGE stats. Plenty of people can be more effective with less babying.

yeah but its like so worth it when you actually promote them, they have really good growth. my ewan as a druid maxed mag, skil, luck, and res before reaching 20 and i make amelia a super recruit because of the bonus crit and she so cuuute XD

well it affects speed when the weight of the weapon you're using is higher than your con.

it can be very frustrating when somebody has such a low con that everything is too heavy, like lilina:P

Not really. I've taken the average growths and endstats for every character: Amelia and Ross are both in the 5 best characters, and Ross is in the middle. And this is just statistically: This doesn't count the bonuses Amelia gets as a general, the summoning capabilities that Ewan gets as...well...a summoner, or Ross's critical bonus as a Beserker.

The only downside to them is that Amelia and Ewan appear a little too far into the game to train without random encounters.

Actually it's not TOO hard to beat a capped swordmaster, try a general with swordslayer.

I must say: This I could see happening! I just started playing (AGAIN) and I made Ross a Pirate: Hes level 13 and I haven't started the 9th CHAPTER (YEs, I've trained that much, Franz and Ross both Class changed in Chapter 6 (Ross didn't change til next chap really, but franz DID change during Chap 6)) and pwns anything in his way :D I'm tryin to make him a Beserker (Don't tell me this is a bad idea, I know because I've been playing for fun. Looking for a code for all items which I can't find!!

One time, my Geese (FE6) killed a myrmidon with 29% chance of hitting. Even more horrible, the ennemy had a silver sword and 90% chance of hitting. Guess what? He missed, I criticaled :D Sometimes you gotta be rng-blessed.

I have a similar story. In the final level of FF7, I was up against the Uhai morph, and I was using Lowen. Now, I'd hit him at close range with Lowen's HAnd Axe, and the next turn, he moved one space away and attacked. He missed with a 97% chance. I criticalled with my Hand Axe at long range from horseback.

Epic win, I say.
