@Gsa2134 fraps recording would seriosly affected performance, i wanted to show performance on the machine, not picture quality (which is also really bad)... i dont understand youtube videos that should show performance on some system, but its affected by fraps recording with description saying something like "without fraps, i have got about 30fps more!".
@Gsa2134 i dont have the computer anymore, but i remember that it was 64MB shared (it was Intel Extreme Graphics 2), it was really a general performance issue, it almost didnt matter which settings i choose.

Are you using Windows 7 or Vista? I think that game has issues on them. Otherwise, the game is having Crossfire issues, since dual GPUs weren't around back when that game was made.

Oh my... Intel Extreme Graphics 2 are the ones they have for the laptops at school. It's not a good card. I have an ATI RADEON X1100 with 64MB vRAM, and plays this very nice on 800x640 resolution.

low quality
resolution on 640x480
no shadows
no high special effects
no bumbmaps
no antialiasing
no vertical sync???
