The first pitch strike to Carlos was a hanging gopher ball but he was taking all the way because Adam looked like he had lost the strike zone when he just walked Lo Duca on five pitches to load the bases. That called third strike was just a filthy pitch that had him hypnotized. Well Done, Cardinals.

The last ten minutes before this happened, or however long the bottom of the ninth lasted in that game, was probably THE MOST nerve-racking period of time I have ever experienced in my life, especially when Wainwright started to get in trouble. I was SO relieved when Beltran struck out. You have to admit, even if you're a Mets fan, this was a great game. What with it being tied 1-1 going into the ninth, Endy's catch (I was SOO pissed), Yadi's homer, and the tension at the end.
