im srry but i ver much disagree with the person who replied to my comment. there songs yes they are about god. but there also about over comeing things in my opinion. i respect that persons opinion and would never say that it is not right. but in my own opinion i disagree. i think that all the songs are metaphorical meaning you can take with you many meanings to the song. she dosnt just reach out to christians but also everyone. i myself am not a christian or catholic but i enjoy this music.

the beauty about songs is its all metaphors. how u take the meaning is all up to u. so no one is wrong and no one is right. u think it is both because the part 'my tounge dances behind my lips for u' can be taken as un said words or praying silently. 'holding on to what im feeling' can be taken as her holding on to her love for him or for her belief in god. i am neither christian or atheist. my religion is other but i will say i love this band!!

i LOVE this song. i have a list of about fifty of my fav songs (this is 1 of em) nd one day my boyfriend was like "hey, wat r sum of ur favorite songs?" nd i sent him the whole thing. so we were hanging out at his house nd hes like "lets listen to sum music" so i sed sure nd he made me a mix cd tht was all about us! it was sooo sweet. this was on it (evn tho technically its not a love song) and the song kate by sambassaduer cuz thats my name nd it was so great :) now he luvs flyleaf too! :)

I feel like when this song was written that it was made to show others how amazing it is to have the Holy Spirit inside ones self. It is a great feeling, and I think this song does a great job of explaining the emotions and feelings. Especially the experience. :)

Okay really does it matter if its a christian song or not? The point is that it's an AMAZING song and we should all think about it because it makes a great point. Your never alone with yourself. And everytime i listen to this song, i run out of breath because my whole body wants to move and jerk and sway and raise my head and hands to the heavens. Oh this song is like love pouring through my soul.
