  • I had the amazing honor of recording an album with Ray for Columbia Records called 'Sometimes A Rose'. I was the band leader and played guitar and wrote a song on the album. Spending 2 days in the studio with Ray was so cool.

  • THE ACOUSTICS ARE NOT GOOD ON THIS RECORDING BUT I ENJOY RAY PRICE ESPECIALLY AT HIS AGE. I'M 82, HAVE BRAIN TUMOR AND FACIAL PARALYSIS AND IT IS ENCOURAGING TO HEAR RA Y PRICE'S BEAUTIFUL VOICE AT HIS AGE.

  • I think Ray Price is the greatest.. 48 years ago my husband and I were dating.

our first date was to see Ray Price.. Of course this song is from 1963. The

first time I heard it was the 4th of July holiday in 1963.. Ray does not get

the credit he deserves for this beautiful song.(Eddy Arnold does).I do

not dislike Eddy... Bur Ray did it first and better.. one of those sad stories

of producing I suppose but Ray did his version a couple of years before

Eddy.. to me Ray is the greatest

  • WOW, 80 + years old, and still smooth, powerful, and flawless.

  • Was great in the 40's and still great now !!!

  • I wish that I'd had the opportunity to see Ray Price. He is the BEST! I just love him sooo much. He's simply amazing!

  • Brilliant. Ray you look and sound oh so good. I can't wait to see you myself, you are my one and only. Thank you- Jenny.

  • @atmailcalltoday Somewhere up there on that old mountain on the Dallas Highway there was a place called the Green Frog Cafe, a bootlegger's emporium and domino hall. My grandmother used to get one of her girls to drive her over there for a cold drink and a barbecue sandwich. We talking depression-era, dark mansion days in the cotton patch, long before "Hey, Good Lookin'" and other thrills. It was right around the corner from Carl's.

    Drank one for me, y'all.

    The Legendary

  • Howdy From Sacramento,Ca.... !!! WOW

  • Just saw him tonight at Roy Acuff Theater. Ray is the man.

  • I'm so glad I went to this show. It was so neat to be there for his first show back!
