  • Awesome!!!! I'm bout to get an fp10, this vid makes me even more exited.

  • i think I'm going to get an fp10 too! do you also need a mixer board btw??

  • No, it comes with cubase. You plug the firewire output into your computer and do mixing/mastering after recording

  • what kind of cymbals are you using? and did you use any compretion in the mix?

  • wow! nice sound and playing! iv'e got to know what mics your using. and i'm also curious about what brand your snare is.

  • Hey, nice sound + playing

I'm looking to buy a FP10 - the new firepod, what mics are you using you know?

    thanks James

  • Wonderful straight ahead/backbeat drumming.

Love the sound on this video.

  • those drums sound good!

  • what kind of drums do u use?

  • You are probably the only person on this site who knows how to record, and the Firepod is a fantastic piece of equipment. If you buy a Line6 UX2, you'll get some stunning guitar effects, and you'll be able to use those to other inputs that no one seems to know about.

  • thats the firepod

or the firestudio with alot of xlrs or is it the one with 2 xlrs mics

  • really good sound, compression, eqs, really good!!

  • I have the fp10 preamp/soundcard and it's totally sweet. Total sonic range at 24bit/96khz, and the setup only took minutes.

  • thats sick man i think i might be buying a firepod for my new fusion 7's from audix

  • such a nice drum sound good work!

  • After you recorded it, did you EQ the drums - or is this the original mix straight from the mics. I ask this because my snare has a terrible overtones that i just can't get rid of - and i'm looking to buy a firepod soon.

  • of course theres eq. thats why they sound amazing.

  • @kevinduthu where are you placing the mic on your snare?

  • First: What kind of mics are you using?

Second: Very nice drums and drumming of course :)

  • i just bought a firepod, and i hope i can get that crisp drum sound when my band records...does anybody have anything to tell me about it that might come in handy?,,,thxxxx

  • before you synched them on imovie i assume you mixed all the mics into one audio track. what program did you use for that? cubase? Also do you know if the firepod software is mac compatible?

  • it is. i loveeeeee mine.

  • so how do you edit the audio?

  • wave form editing.. not hard really..

  • i have some firepod recordings embraanderson youtube wonder if you would listen, maybe play some drums?

  • what hi-hat and cymbals do you have?

  • Sounds Really Good I Wanna Get A Firepod.
