You are probably the only person on this site who knows how to record, and the Firepod is a fantastic piece of equipment. If you buy a Line6 UX2, you'll get some stunning guitar effects, and you'll be able to use those to other inputs that no one seems to know about.
After you recorded it, did you EQ the drums - or is this the original mix straight from the mics. I ask this because my snare has a terrible overtones that i just can't get rid of - and i'm looking to buy a firepod soon.
i just bought a firepod, and i hope i can get that crisp drum sound when my band records...does anybody have anything to tell me about it that might come in handy?,,,thxxxx
before you synched them on imovie i assume you mixed all the mics into one audio track. what program did you use for that? cubase? Also do you know if the firepod software is mac compatible?
OK... I give... How are you syncing the audi and video... what sample rates are you using and are you using SMPTE timecode?? I can't get the video and audio to sync properly... pls email me
i have one, my opinion, has limitations in latency, noticeble, nice with a good mike, sure beta (phamtom power), 250 bucks is what records best for me, better mike better recording, i would like to know more about adding drum tracks, looping midi etc?, actually i love the firepod, wish i had a laptop.
in the box EQ? or mixer EQ? if mixer EQ what kind of mixer?

No, it comes with cubase. You plug the firewire output into your computer and do mixing/mastering after recording
