  • He is beautiful and the trainer has a nice connection with him.

  • @ZzCraigBzZ What are you talking about? Bully is a descriptive term for the collective body proportions, head and gait of a variety of bully breeds. It would be like saying "stocky" about a person. This is one of the best-looking 10 month old Bullmastiffs I've ever seen, and is not "short and stocky", but in perfect proportions for his age. Why do people like you comment on things they literally know nothing about?

  • nice looking bullmastiff....

  • What a lovely looking bullmastiff, I am going 2 pick up a 8week old male puppy this saturday!!! Any tips on how to long after this breed of dog, never had had a large dog like this allways had pitbulls, or staff's!!!

  • I think this dog is a Mustang ! I love this dog and the breed. How you get him so muscular. Do you train him special oder give him special food ?

  • @MrMrSerdar Hi, thank you! He was just a puppy in this video, he's even bigger now :) He is a great dog. I don't do anything special to work him just walks and he plays in the back yard (I've got a large fenced in back yard) with the girl Bullmastiffs so he gets quite a bit of exercise. I don't feed any kind of muscle formula (could be too high in protien for a giant breed dog), I just feed him premium kibble for large breeds.

  • @vetzpets

Thank you for your quick answer. ;-)

  • @ZzCraigBzZ MORON!

  • @ZzCraigBzZ He is a BULL Mastiff the original breeding was 60% English Mastiff & 40% Eng. Bulldog, they have the bulk and strenght of the bulldog with the size of the Mastiff but it's their personality that's the best, just the sweetest dogs. Luca is just a puppy in these videos, he's still not full grown at 2 yrs old, about 4-5 yrs is when an intact male Bullmastiff would reach full bulk growth in the head, chest & neck.

  • @vetzpets Very true. And don't listen to these youtube IDOITS. You're dog is beautiful.

  • @SAMKREATOR Thank you! :)

  • @ZzCraigBzZ I don't know what breed you think the word "bullys" stands for, collectively the mastiff breeds are also known as molosser breeds however this encompasses a LOT of breeds of dogs, Bullmastiffs are NOT supposed to be tall, 27" max for males, I belive you might be thinking of English Mastiffs NOT Bullmastiffs, the Bullmastiff originated by crossing the Eng. Bulldog with the English Mastiff which is why they are supposed to be square and stocky but by no means a small dog!! look it up!

  • Hi, Bullmastiffs are NOT supposed to be tall, you may be thinking of the South African version (which has Gt. Dane mixed in) or possibly the Bully Kutta (sadly bred for fighting). However a Bullmastiff is supposed to be square, square head, blocky chest and an overall square appearance.

  • Hey I have a question for you.

Been looking into Bullmastiffs for quite some time now and I seem to see two kinds of dogs.

Some are really tall with long legs and others, like this one, are shorter and more bulky. How can I be sure my dog is gonna be one of the tall ones when I purchase a puppy ?

    Thanks

  • what do you feed him

  • Cont. They do not want or require a lot of exercise, a good walk once or twice a day is fine and they don't need a lot of space, I've got plenty of people who live in the city who have one of my dogs and live in apartments and have done just fine with a Bullmastiff in the city! :) They make excellent dogs for kids and therapy dogs as well, all of my adult bullies are certified therapy dogs :)

    Wags,

    Suzan

  • @vetzpets i would never let any of my 3 be therapy dogs as there is a child along the street form me who has somthing wrong with him and he screeches alot, im always worried about my 3 as when he screeches, my dogs go wild, iv never seen anything like it! they just dont like it at all.

  • wow what a beautiful bullmastiff u have!!!!!all ur videos are amazing and ur training is also great.

i heard they are wonderful creatures.but are they stubbor and do they require a very large yard?what are their exercise requirements?

please anyone let me know about these facts because i am trying to adopt one.

  • Thanks, he's a pretty good guy! Just won his championship this past May, he'll be 2 yrs later this month (Sept). They can be a little stubborn but they also love to please you, so they aren't too difficult to train, they are also very food motivated which helps a lot in the beginning training!

  • But it is VERY important to feed giant breed puppies puppy formula food for at least the first 2 years (unless they are overweight)!!! The "Growing them slow" myth started somewhere but I've seen so many problems either with horribly emaciated pups or joint and other heath issues as they age because of it. It is only common sense, could you "grow" a human child "slow" that had tall parents? NO of course not! The only way you can "grow a puppy slow" is through malnutrition!!!

  • Not feeding giant breed puppies puppy formula food is a myth, check the research on nutrition for giant breeds out of Tufts University!

  • What do you feed him ?

my 5 mnth old bullmastiff x dogue de bordeux is on a high quality complete dried food for puppies/junior (giant breeds)

Hes growing fast but do you think i need to introduce him to anything else ?

i want him to look powerfull like Dext lol

  • Giant breeds need the extra calories and nutrients to sustain their (genetically programmed) rapid growth! What they DON'T need is extra calcium. Glucosamine should also be given as a suppliment even though it is usually in giant breed formulas it's just not enough. A pup should be on 250 mg three times a day and adult 500 mg three times a day. But it is VERY important to feed giant breed puppies puppy formula food for at least the first 2 years (unless they are overweight)!!!

  • Thank you, he's a big clown!

  • thats is one good looking dog
