Craig Ferguson is from a country that had spent a thousand years fighting the English for the right to remain independent, not helping them create an empire. You've quite evidently got a very narrow and selective grasp of history, only acknowledging information that suits your blatant bias.

they keep making jokes about germany invading countries in world war 2 while the british possesed the largest empire in the history of the world, have a history of centuries of wars and invasions all around the world. but all of a sudden they turned fighters for freedom and liberty against tyranny when fighting their german rivals what a joke. and america isnt exactly shy when it comes to fighting wars/invading/bombing foreign countries either.
