  • Very, very, very wonderful...awesome song

  • Sweet! This sounds awesome!

  • I'm a sucker for fretless. Been meaning to get one but alas, still empty handed.

    Nice work man!

  • Pretty good. Especially the harmonics. At first I was kind of iffy about the song, but when those hit, I just really warmed up to it.

  • thanks man.

  • well done! i really like the harmonics!

  • Yo Zander, thanks for taking the time out to listen man! Y'know, its amateur in both its recording and composition, but i'm just having fun. Thats what its about right?

Cheers. Fretless really gets those harmonics sliding nicely =)

  • Beautiful work my friend.

  • Thanks once again korgrandi. Thanks for always checking my vids out.

  • wow, that's impressive

  • cheers!

  • awsome. I really like the harmonic section

  • cheers!

  • it still reminds me of meadows in early morning light. its got a wispy sound, it really reminds me of sunrises and clouds and meadows and nothing of the dark stuff you keep talking about. sorry to burst your bubble there. but if you write and burn me a cd, you'll become the soundtrack to all my fiction. =)

and aw, fade out is a cheap ending. >=(

  • its not really a fade, but like a swell at the end. i let the synth ring out at the end

  • I would buy the CD! When does it come out?

  • All i can say at this point, is when it comes out =). I can almost guarantee you it'll be free download on reverbnation. Cheers dude!

  • (haha, I went over the text character limit)

As a fellow bass player, I am impressed with the solo. I have not done fretless work but admire it greatly. Keep it up.

  • Cheers for the thought out comments!

  • My criticism is on the bass stuff going on behind the solo. The bass tapping (it sounds like. legato?) is constant which works for the first minute while the solo is developing, but then it stays the same while the solo becomes more than just the drawn out notes from the previous section. I think you could work on the notes and maybe even chords in the background to truly bring out all that your solo has to offer.

  • Really good point. Whilst composing i strongly had in mind the possiblity of live loopng this piece, which is why the tapping, i dare say, can get a tad repetitive.
