If you want something like this, then get the Blue Moon Rising mod and use Ballistic Weapons on that. Also, turn the prefix on any map you want to BMR and play the mod on any map. It's very worth it, zombies is great with Ballistic on.

Here is something you must do with it

Open a password server and invite a friend.

Activate the loaded cheat. Then Take the laser bombs(or mine)and plant them in a long long long line ^^(i´m german i hope it´s the right word) (laser is tuned off so it cant explode. Now make a big field of mines and bombs ^^Say your friend that he shoult stay on the field of mines . Finally you let the last bomb BOOOOOOOM ^^. Now you look how a ball of fire hit your friend^^

Not really. Invasion gamemode has no zombies at all. Only Unreal Monsters and stuff. Like flying creatures and aliens with laser staff. Like the old Unreal games.

I've got both; personally, I play 2004 much more because it's just better; it supports more players and bots (32), more weapons, more mods, more maps and Onslaught mode (with HUGE maps). Only thing 3 has over it is pistols (love em) and better graphics. That's about it.

UT3 has some awsome Zombie mods. But UT2004 has heaps more. UT3 graphics are better. UT2004 has an easier to use map editor. UT3 mightn't even have any. I'm not sure. I have UT2004 and i love it. Check out UT2004-Killing Floor mod. That might persuade you to get UT2004. I would buy UNREAL COMPLETE PACK if you have 120$ because you get all the UNreal games.

I would personally avoid UT3 just for all the user interface crap that you have to deal with. I do own the game, and any time something goes wrong [which it does, with annoying frequency], Epic blames Gamespy, and Gamespy blames Epic, and the gamer gets the short end of the stick.

Gameplay's not that great either, it's pretty similar, with new fancy vehicles and new weapon effects.

Gameplay: same

Interface: much, much worse

Graphics: decently better

@gurlinos well, it's looks like you talking about the chaos mod, for ut2004, because the only mod that i know that have the black hole gun ( the real name of the weapon is gravity vortex), and a grenade launcher with 4 tipes o ammunations: napalm, normal, flash and toxic. yeah, i like this mod. my favourite weapons are: the ERDW, the CROSSBOW, the GRAVITY VORTEX and the TURRET LAUNCHER. good times thoses...
