Thank you so much for posting this! When I was about eight or nine years old, I found an old, battered casette of this album that my Mom had bought in the 70s. I swear, I must've listened to that album hundreds of times, over and over. Completely hooked. This brings back incredible memories.
@dixienarco2008 I love Johnny too. This song was written by Dick Feller. He also wrote When Uncle Bill Quit Dope (Johnny Cash). He also wrote The Bandit and East Bound And Down (Jerry Reed). If you like this type of song, check him out. I met him a few times in Nashville, he's a great songwriter.
i've always thought of johnny cash as the father figure of country. all of his songs have given me life advice that i take to heart and i think it helps make me a better person.
"Any Old Wind That Blows" has been my favorite Cash album since the early 70s; it is indeed a full-blown masterpiece.
WHEN will they get around to releasing it on CD?!? I recently picked up an unopened copy of the LP, begrudgingly opened it and burned the virgin vinyl to CD.....with fabulous results!

Never in my life has a song so precisely captured how I feel. Thank you.

Johnny hit a sensitive cord on my person with this song. One of my favorites by him. God Bless J.C. & June Carter Cash.
