Can the focus be easily adjusted whilst shooting? And if so, how is this done? Via a focus wheel or on the touch screen? Great video by the way-looks beautiful!

ok let me explain i am not a hater this just isn't mush of a film look at all because all he did is darken the edges and added some lightly used color correcting with camera focus to try to get Depth of field This isn't a film Look!!! thats all!

unfortunately you can not. HD cameras are only made to shoot in a 16:9 aspect because TVs are now only made in the 16:9 ratio. as you can see youtubes hd is also 16:9 (the standard) if you want to shoot in a 4:3 ratio just tape up the sides of your lcd with clear tape to you know whats going to be in the frame later when you cut the edges with editing software. if your using a mac you can do this with imovie09(probably dl'able) or a pc you can do it with sony vegas video (probably down loadable)

I do about the same kind of thing to get a more film look with my Avid / Boris Red. We have yet to get new HD cameras at the station I work at but hopefully thats coming soon.

Denlin i will agree with carsonmaier14 even tho i dont know much about filming or cameras but i do know what i like and this is good in my eyes...and whats the song thats playing??? i dont think i have heard it before...if you could tell me i would appreciate it ; )
the vignette effect is not "film effect" it is Top gear effect.
You never see vignette effect in cinema. so Fail
