This debate is all about Romney and Perry. Out of all the candidates you see on stage right now, the GOP figures that either Romney or Perry can beat Obama. That's who the GOP is putting all their money on. All these other characters you see on stage will fade into the background and drop out of the race in due time, but they'll stick around for a while even though their chances aren't great of winning a national election, but at the end of the day the nomination boils down to Romney and Perry.

I don't like most of his politics, and frankly his economic policy would send us spiraling back into the 1930s. Aside from the Fed and the wars, Paul is opposed to the ideals many Americans believe in, and he should therefore not be the default rallying outsider. I'm actually appalled that jaded Democratic voters are willing to throw in with this guy.
