Why are all the Rochesters played by such handsome guys? Rochester is supposed to be quite unattractive in Jane Eyre, yet every adaptation of either JE or WSS has him played by some adonis.

@2eyre Yes. In Jane Eyre (which is what the book is inspired by) and at the end of this, "Bertha Mason" sets fire to Thornfield and runs up to the battments.
