i remember watching this a kid back when it was ok to wish someone a merry christmas and santa was found infront of the store ringing the bell to put money in for charity. You cant find these delightful things anymore...

I miss my childhood....there was no stress....just snow with more magic and mystery....when I watch something so peaceful and magical as this, it really brings back memories! I hope to show my kids some day what eerieness yet beautiful magic christmas has to offer with the stillness of snow everywhere and the warmt of festive moods trickling into our hearts! I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas....we are never too young to be enchanted by it all!!

This film is a work of art. Y'know, although I was not too keen on the pastel graphics back at the time, I look at it now and I think they are excellent. Far superior and pleasing to look at than all the soulless CGI nonsense that we have today :)

I wonder how long it'll be before some critic says that the boy and the snowman are setting bad examples for the children: Sneaking out at night, stealing a bike and joy riding, and wasting electricity by keeping the fridge/freezer door open.
