Just saying, I'm pretty sure that's why a lot of people use two fingers in a V shape around their eyes. Keeps you from blinking. Could make things easier for you. Nice contacts though.

omg i had tears in my eyes because i was laughing so hard. I laughed because i went through the same frustration when i wore contacts for halloween. They are hard to get in the first couple of times but once you get the hang of it you will be able to pop them in very quick. Btw u did a awesome job as hellboy. Its very realistic looking :)

Tip: Most people look upwards while putting the lens in, so that they don't blink as much, placing it on the white part of the eye and blinking it into place. The reason you're blinking so much is because its what naturally happens by trying to protect the eye from damage. I'm sure someone has some videos on youtube you could watch for help. :D

I wear contacts and when I first started, I had to tack on at least 30 minutes to "get ready" time but now I can put them on without even looking and with one hand. I wish I had a tip on how to but the truth is..until your eyes get "ok" with introducing a foreign object...it's just not gonna be a fun time! All I can say is, try putting them on more often to help "desensitize" your eyes.

Put the lens on your pointer finger, pull down the lower lid with your ring finger and hold the upper lid open with the other hand. Look up and pop the lens in then close your eye and look down. It'll be placed just right when you open your eye. I've worn lenses for years and this is the only way that works for me!

LOL, I feel your pain! When I first started wearing contacts the same thing would happen to me. It was infuriating and sometimes I would just give and wear my glasses!

I've used both of tricks that @ShadowBoxStudioMUA and @makeupbynight are talking about and they really help.

I've worn contacts for years and years...but the easiest way to do it is to apply it on the white of your eyes...I usually find the outer whites easier. Then gently nudge the contact over your iris.

That and, until you get used to getting them in, hold BOTH lids open so that you're not blinking.

Lenses goo innn first before the makeuppp, just so you wont worry about smudging the makeuppp after its all amazingly done.

To put them in you should look in the other direction untill it touches your eye, when it does touch your eye look at the lense
