Yes, I'm sure Mr.Nintendo was sitting behind a desk smiling at the idea of creating a secret button only accessible by pushing a toothpick so hard into the upper left corner of the screen that it ruins calibration and touch sensitivity.  It's called a glitch.

You can calibrate the ds then do it. its easier

the reason why its failing is because the simple start button is only on japanese routers which we dont have. Making it useless without it.

It's in the very upper left corner of the touch screen. The easiest way to access it is to recalibrate the touch screen so whatever you tap on the screen is slightly off from where you actually tapped (tap the bottom right of the square when calibrating).

its not a secret by the way it doesnt give you a free connection but it allows you to find one its a standard button for all wifi games
