  • I love it ! ^0^♪

  • hmmm....that 1 dislike probably came from a crying person who missed the like button because he was blinded by his tears.... =)

  • If you mention Yiruma, most people will only think of 'Kiss the Rain' and 'River Flows in You' or maybe ' Love Me'? But very little ppl will mention 'Falling'! And I tell you what! U're awesome! XD

  • Hm. Is it just me or the this song is VERY identical to Disney's "Falling Waltz"?

  • I love this soo much i could cry ;') <3 nice job

  • This song is beautiful! (: You played it really good!

  • all music built from known pieces in contrast pictures. it's style of Yiruma.

  • i think this is better than river flows in you and kiss the rain, the atmosphere it brings is very special...

  • "I've noticed "Falling" is less widely known as opposed to "Kiss the Rain" and "River Flows in You". I suppose maybe it's because "Falling" has more of a melancholy feel?"

i agree... it touches my heart more than those two, especially when playing it. i'm so in love with his music.

  • this song iz amazing great job!!

  • this song makes you feel like you have gone through so much. it made me think about all the wrong things that have been done to me but yet i still hold on...<3

  • I'm actually learning how to play all three pieces now. I love both Falling and Kiss the Rain. Both have a "sad" sort of feel. :)

  • i love the songs he creates xD but i can only do 1 of them (kiss the rain) and im trying to do River flows in you .. Can i ask a question for pianists out there.. How do you play with 2 hands with different notes at the same time ?!?! Please youll be a big help !! (by the way im a beginner but i got a song xD )

  • @jumperbee start off by knowing how to play each hand on it's own... then put them together, slowly to start of with (do it part by part). then keep praticing, in time you will be able to play it together.

  • beautiful!

  • missing expression, but in respect of correctness play this song was good :)

  • I can only afford an electronic keyboard, so when I play, I sound like you. You have a piano. You can play notes hard or soft, you can accentuate some notes and tell a story, but you're not doing it. Right now the notes are played with the same expression.

When you learn, technique dominates, but you have the technique down, now focus on your emotions, don't be afraid to invest

Remember, to make it truely beautiful, have contrast, mix calm with passion, cos one w/o the other is just bland.

  • I like yiruma so much! a true masterpiece

  • u know what? ;D I'm witing a story, and I listened on this when I write. Then I send my story to a friend, and she become.. i dunno... just crazy 8D She loved it!

So.. a tip to writers: Listened on this / other Yiruma song! :D

  • That's kind of what I'm doing. Though, I'm writing a huge essay. But a playlist of Yiruma songs is getting me through!

  • really nice, i love it =D

  • especially at 01:01, that particular frame, should be very expressive, showing some sense of yearning and sadness, and finally blooms at 01:17 and onwards, voicing your heart and desire.

Try to put yourself in a situation where you can't express how you feel, you are saddened by the torment, and you finally set your emotions free.

If you can master those 16 seconds, apply that to the song and feel why it was written.

Right now, the song doesn't void technique, but voids soul

  • cool, i totally agree with you.

Hopefully next time i can post videos too so that you can critique :)

  • nice, but I feel a slight lack of emotion. Playing the notes and playing a song are two different things. A little more emotion and emphasis on particular parts would be wonderful.

and before people start to jump me, you don't have to be an actor to appreciate a good film, nor do you have to play the piano to know when a piece is played with little emotion.

  • i wanna cry !

  • @hacha456 i cried before this song happened,,,,, im in a playlist...... of yiruma...... who else? Thump ups if u agree,,,,, JK none of that bull, the top comments are already amazing....

  • fantastic job, hard to hold the tears back. beautiful job

  • pretty

  • I love your playing. :)

Yiruma is easily one of my favorite composers!

  • You're playing nice, but still, while you're playing you have to imagine to yourself something, like what is the atmosphere in the piece or a character in this piece.

I believe you can use your feelings in a better way and express them more, its kinda missing.

-You have to pay attention to 2:49, that this is the peak in this piece. you should play it in a different way from the other parts.

  • do you have sheet music?

  • You can do anything that you put your mind to. No matter what reason you have for not being able to play, you can if you are determined enough =]

  • A girl i dated for over a year left me so i picked up piano, partly cause yiruma... it helped a lot and i absolutely love it. i can play now and it was worth her leaving me lol

  • hey dis is very great.. As i had find other yiruma piano players yours is almost close to that of the original one.. I had also seen one like you whom played almost too close to yiruma's maybe because you are very good and because both of you uses yamaha piano.. your right here in youtube falling is not so familiar but i do really like it.. Do you accept requests to be played.. Coz i also want to hear the day after andf the moment also by yiruma..

  • So Amazing...

  • i wanna play da piano and play those songs. AMAZING!!

  • your playing is amazing :] this song definitely needs to be more known, it's gorgeous :D

  • hey nice job playing falling...love how you play it...nice easy and soft...keep it up...and thanks for sharing...

  • nice job..keep it up

  • Very very well done, two thumbs way up, for being able to emulate most, if not all, of the emotion that is present within a Yiruma piece. I love it

  • wow ur amazing!!!!!nice job!!!!=D

  • wow i havent heard this song thisis a good song it should be more reconized

  • nice

  • Very nicely done. =D

You even accent where you're supposed to and give it the same kinda feel as Yiruma. =]

  • yirumas gonna be the famous composer of the 21st century! and also 20th century : D

  • amazing! you have turned me to a die hard yiruma fan now!! you have lovely hands btw ^_^

  • *Sniff* It's beautiful. *Wipes tear out of eye* Bravo.

  • Love the song, but that kinda buzzing in the backround kinda got to me a little

    - but beautifully played

  • i become so0o engaged in yiruma's misic it's ridiculous!

    u've played it nicely. :)

  • love this song! good job =]

  • I love yiruma's songs, but it sucks because... you can't really have alot of dynamic changes... :x It's still pretty, but it lacks the passion in other pieces. :] Nicely played, though!

  • what do you mean? there is hardly a dynamic marking in yiruma's score but i'm sure yiruma wouldn't mind if you change some dynamics. i think yiruma's music can have much dynamics IMO.

  • Well I mean it's not as... like... it's more sweet and nice compared to classical pieces like beetoven and bach and mozart.

I love yiruma's pieces;; seriously;; but I'm just saying the style is really really really different.

  • ah i think i know what you are talking about. you mean yiruma's music is more like quite music?

  • Yep; it's more simple and sweet; it doesn't have multiple movements like a sonata. Basically, it's repetitive and quiet. It's moving; but a different type. My mom's like: "I like yiruma's songs, but it's like a massage that's really soft and not as satisfying." Lol. Interesting simile, eh?

  • haha that's clever

  • Beutiful!

  • Wonderful. You should take out the "Yamaha" and put in "Yiruma" on the piano. When U first looked at the piano I thought it said "Yiruma" hhaaha. This is gorgeous. Lovely in a way of hearing it and watching it unfold. Great job

  • Or, actually, don't email me, I'll put it on my profile somewhere in my about me section or something. [x

  • For those who want the sheet music, just email me, cause it won't let me post it on here for some reason. /:

  • i would!!

  • Well done! NIce music. Have not heard before though but will hear more of it now...

  • this is so lovely and nicely done~

is there anyway that i can get the sheet music?

  • verynice ^.^ one question though, what is melancholy?

  • sadness, depression

  • nicely played :)
