When I see the Volvo Tundra concept I think of the 70's Lamborghini Urraco, especiall the Silhoutte model of 1976-1979. The front part and the sloping rear is very Lamborghini Silhoutte like.
Hardly surprising since Betone did both the Urraco and Silhoutte.
Well, to be more accurate the DeLorean used the same engine as the Volvo. After all that 70's V6 engine was designed as a joint venture between Peugeot, Renault and Volvo and hence the engine was called the PRV V6. It was sold 1974-1997. Volvo stopped using it in their cars in the late 80's already.
It was a thirsty engine that offered little refinement or power. However it did have patential. In turbocharged form it took the speed record in LeMans.The WM-Peugeot did 256mph in 1988.
the tundra is the citroen BX, the same thing happened for the lancia thesis and the renault vel satis, wich both come from a lincoln studie (Lincoln Sentinel, the renault take the front, the lancia the back). Lukily volvo never made that ugly car, better for a crappy frog-model.

That car uses the same V6 as the Delorean DMC-12.
