@Yatsuan the creators knew zutara was more popular so they followed through with the opposite. this actually makes the series more popular through fanfiction and whatnot. in fact, up to a certain point, the creators had so much shipping to reference from past seasons they could have put katara with alot of different people.

I wonder what made Avatar appeal to such a wide audience. Was it the animation quality? Was it the epic story telling? Was it the world we were immersed in? The interesting characters? All of these? For me, it was the creation of the world that made Avatar win it for me.

I also loved how much research they put into everything. Loved the Miyazaki references, the details, the Asian philosophy and culture.

But really, the clincher was the storyline.

After analyzing the "Zutara" episode, The Southern Raiders, the idea of Zutara has become unappealing. Zuko brought the worst out of katara only thinking he could help her. That's not exactly a good thing. Katara needs Aang just as much as Zuko needs Mai.

(Remember, this is only my opinion and I'm a Zutarian as well at heart. This is just a realistic view of the couple, IMO.)

People who want a Book 4 blatantly but indirectly admit they know nothing about film and storytelling. Sorry, but that's just the way it is. They won't and shouldn't make a Book 4 because there's simply no to continue on, nor is there enough material that was left out of the finale to waste another entire season on. They could easily wrap these things up in the 1 hour special they are talking about making.

Sadly, there will NOT be a book four. Yes, they left so many loose ends,like where Azula is, and I was extremely pissed to know that they ended without showing Zuko's mom. I read somewhere that their going to do a future-type series, it would be about after Aang's death, and about the new avatar. But, for all I know it could be wrong.
