  • How did a kid working for al qaeda get internet?

  • Phosphorus

  • Phosphous

  • DO NOT TRY THIS!

If you have bad luck, this is a recepie for detonating cord! If you think this is going to burn like normal fuse, and use them to light thermite you won't have time to get away and the thermite will start to burn instantly.

  • Yeah Im sure magnesium is available in every corner store in USA, bit harder to get hold of here in HM Prison UK, Be better if you actually showed the fuse making process as well as telling us about it.

BTw if my mom had caught me withthat stuff when I was your age I would have well been grounded

  • @darrylportelli I think the kclo3 in the matches acts as an oxidiser

  • can u tell me how thin the thread needs to b? like for a needle or from a yarn ball ? and how disolwed does it need to b and please put up a guide when u are making the fuse

  • can u tell me how thin the thread needs to b? like for a needle or from a yarn ball ?

  • Do you have a favorite mix for impact sensitive flash powder? Good video by the way.

  • Bypass the yarn method. Just take a strip of tissue paper (NOT toilet paper) like that found in shirt boxes. Cut a strip about an inch wide and 12 inches long. Run a glue stick up the center. Liberally sprinkle the magnesium/match-head mixture over the glue. Lift strip to allow excess to fall off. Twist paper into a fuse. Instead of match heads you might use smokeless powder.

  • cool video

  • A child telling me how to make a magnesium fuse...Well I never.....

    Good stuff here lol

  • @TheCommissar15 thanks

  • @Niakahdabamb

why don't u show how u make it beacus my fuse exploded luckly i didn't hold it in my hand.

  • why not use dextrin instead of the match heads!! dextrin is a binder and Im sure it will bind it better and also dextrin is dead easy to make at home thus eliminating the time needed to crush the matches

  • @darrylportelli i have recently made some dextrin and you could use it as the binder

  • @darrylportelli Because I made my method by using the sticky in the match heads but also using the match heads flammability to keep the magnesium burning

  • @glenwoofit how would you suggest going about making a Magnesium fuse. Because it is something i want to do but i want to be smart about it i really dont want to loose any body parts. and seeing how that kid did it it must not be to dangerous but im not going to do it untell i know i can do it safely.

    Any thing will help thanks.

  • @nickstaal123 you will be fine as long as you do it how I described in the video and for safety keep the fuse in a container away from other flammable materials

  • This video was brought to you be Aquafina.

  • @nickstaal123 lol funny

  • not to long but it could have been shorter for describing that PS do a test

  • you can get magnesium powder and other chemicals at unitednuclearDOTcom

  • where did you get the magnesium? and can i just take any ordinary match head and crush em up into a fine powder?

  • can't believe you called it sulfur ;) but good video overall for your age :D btw, iron oxide and rust is the same thing so yea... :) good job!

  • great video... love this!

  • thank you

  • where can u get magnesium?

  • get a pencil sharpener whit the word KUM under

  • go to an outdoor supply store and ask for a magnesium/flint fire striker the big block side is magnesium :D

  • @lemonsith thanx :D

  • @confusion9832 up yo ass

  • if youir using "matchhead fuses" you shouldnt be playing with thermite because you are obviously very inexperienced. espicially because you called it sulphur

  • match heads aren't made by sulfur, but by potassium chlorate and some other chemicals for example dextrin and sulfur, but in small portions, and the sulfur doesn't hold it together it's the dextrin that is in it.

  • 2:36 match head powder(i'm guessing match head powder) is not sulfur(sulfur is yellow), and if they screw this ratio up they could be making a flash powder, also if your going to make videos like this and not have all your facts then you shouldn't poke holes in my videos, jerk

  • where did u get that flacons or sorta things were u have ur mg and s in?

  • i tries it it didnt work why not same string same magnesium and everything someone tell me y

  • damn u yanks and ur ability to get stuff from walmart we cant get jack shit here in australia

  • its called ebay m8

  • i know. it sucks ass. i liv in victoria and you cant even get potasium based strawberry fitilizer =(

  • you can get magnesium from pencil sharpeners

  • hey were not all dicks cuz we live in the U.S. : ) try looking at a boating supply store they sell it in large blocks for a sacrificial anode for the hull of a boat, they cover the hull and stop the hull from rusting and getting ruined until the magnesium is gone

  • @mummysez1mspecial that shit sucks i love walmart

  • do you put the guup around a string?

  • what is a guup?

  • yo someone tell me why mine didnt work im just wondering it pisssed me off so much

  • lol !i! goop, love4 it XD

  • ho do u grind the magnesium?

  • i use a dremmel tool u can get from lowes or home depot its also useful for other projects so u arent wasting ur money

  • you are too young to be playing with fire

  • sulphur is way diffrent than match powder matches are red phosphrus u really need to know your powders

  • i know try reading other comments before making ur own its already been mentioned

  • @Niakahdabamb hey bud how old are you because i just started doing stuff like this and im 16. i just want to give you props you dont sound dumb

  • they also sell this fuse type

  • im making this soon by te way probably in the camping section is where magnesium is in walmart

  • does cotton string work for this? and what if i put some flint in too?

  • cotton string is best actually

  • yeah, but mine dosent work, the part that i lit burns, and then goes out, and they dont look like urs, ive tried 50:50 ive tried all magnesium ive tried all match, and they just dont burn. btw, there is some flint in my magnesium, is that bad? thx,

  • the flint shouldnt be in the mixture just magnesium finely grinded as fine as possible to ensure that it mixes together with the match powder and ur matches might be the problem too

  • i use wooden safety matches... but i dont know whats wrong

  • k, so ima make my version, which is loads easier, and burns slower, and quite frankly, is fun and easy, no mixing stirring or any bullshit

  • Information on Thermite paste anyone?

  • Hes not too young im 10 and i love explosives

  • Im kidding...Im 29...I only wish i was 10.

  • no offense or anything, but you seem to be a little young to be using magnesium

  • Have u ever seen the program Phineas and Pherb? If so ull get a kick out of this.

    "Yes, yes I am."

    Im 14

  • oh, never mind. you sounded a lot younger.

  • I am 14 and that is one of my favorite shows. Right On!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yo man is the stick of magnesium like a fire starter?

i can find magnesium at walmart?!?!?

  • the bar of magnesium comes with a little round stick of flint on one of the long sides the grey magnesium bar is about a quarter inch thick 1 1/2" wide and 3" long

  • What department in Walmart would magnesium be in?

  • in the outdoors section near the lawn chairs and fillet knives and stuff like that

  • You should probably stop saying match heads is sulfur or is like sulfur because 1, it bugs me. 2, matches main ingredient is potassium chlorate not sulfur.. I don't even think there is sulfur in then the only thing I can think of right now is antinomy sulfide which is for strike anywhere matches but thats just a sulfide and the worst place to get sulfur from.....

  • yes

i didnt now that then but someone else already posted that comment, and even in the vid i say i only used match heads because it is sticky but at the same time flammable

  • oh well, when me n my friend started pyro stuff we thought matchheads were sulfur as well...probably cuz most ppl that dont know chemistry think so. but neway if u want a good Mg fuse you should try KMnO4+Silicone+Mg...it ignites thermite very easily

  • where to get magnesium?

  • at wallmart in the hunting/camping/fishing section near the lanterns and marshmellow skewers u will find a magnesium bar with flint attached

  • also, grinding up match heads isn't the safest thing. make sure they're kind of wet before you grind them or you might set the kclo3 of in them.

  • the only way the match heads would ignite when taking them off is if i was really wrenching on them

  • when me and my friend first started we played with matches and magnesium...then my friend gave me sum more powder and did not tell me wut it wuz(it was striker powder), we had about 20 grams in a mortar and pestle.........all i did wuz put the pestle into the mortar, no grinding at all. and it went off and burned my hand :\

  • what a genius u r :) jkjk

  • um.. some months ago or something like that i thought that there was sulfur in matches but NO!! thers potassium chlorate in and then a binder, in my matches theres 40-50% kclo3 (potassium chlorate) and rest is red gum (binder) you can purify the kclo3, to make REALLY good flash powder of it.. its kinda explosive.. just try searching kclo3 and aluminium..

  • it's the dextrin in the match powder that makes it stick. I suggest using something other than water with magnesium it will oxidize it make it less effective and will acidify the solution and generate heat that may be capable of lighting it. I suggest you learn about moles and reactions before you get the scale, it will make measuring the best combination out alot easier. you should try coating it in nitrocellulose, lighting it, and throwing it in water.

    (chem major here)

  • how can u file it so fast u used a grind stone???

  • i use a dremmal tool

  • at least i dont stalk people fat ass

  • I dont know if u seen my vids but do i look fat to u

  • u suck it was to long dont talk so much

  • i looked at your page and u dont have any videos why dont u make ur own vid and then talk chicken shit

  • i have a scale coming along with some potassium nitrate and sulfer ill make a vid of the thermite as sonn as i get the scale

    2-3 more days

  • thermite isn't made from potassium nitrate or sulfer? its made from iron oxide [rust] and aluminium

  • no shit im talking about how to make the fuse moron

  • Dude instead of putting it on string, to make it MUCH more effective and like a visco just roll some up in a quarter piece of toilet paper and twist up the ends, it works like crazy

  • Dude, real nice chems, u have a good amzount of red phosopurus, nice MG, all in a good container, i like this vid, ima check ur other vids and maybe ill sub.

  • if anyone has any suggestions for a new vid tell me so and i will get to it asap

  • Umm u could make some flash powder tests on a puck or paper, test some fuses, make a howto on MG/AN flashes. add any of these and become more active and ima sub!

  • cool man ill make a vid in the next few days

  • k ty, and is the ratio 50/50? cus i tested this out and it was drying for about 1 and a half hours and it just, went very slow, probably because i didnt put in enough match powder my mix was 2/1 MG + match powder

  • actually i put a little too much match powder but if yours burned slow that is better when ur lighting thermite

it gives u more time to get away without using a super long fuse

  • well true, but now i have a problem :P. i made a cherry bomb full of flash and now when i put the fuse in it comes out the top about 1cm and its my fastburn magnesium ahaha. this bomb is gunna be a shaky ride. im gonna have to light and RUNN

  • try just putting less match powder in your fuse and more in your fp

  • wtf match powder in flash?? its MG/AN 50/50 weight (2/1 volume). how do you make your flash?

  • thats one way i make fp but u can also use mg and match powder

  • that does work but its flammable in the open and explosive when contained, just like BP

  • get fancy with it
