eu não vivi essa época, eu só tinha 8 anos em 1996 e descobri esse unplugged a pouco tempo, e ter a oportunidade de conhecer mais sobre essa banda me deixa muito feliz e pra minha geração saber a importância do AIC no rock. Eu sei que é dificíl substituir o Layne, mas ele infelizmente não voltará mais, e os fãs mesmo deveriam prestigiar o retorno da banda com o novo vocalista, é como manter vivo o legado do Layne, ele se foi mas a sua música vai ficar para sempre nas nossas vidas!

Lanye was the band.He thoght Jerry could'nt sing so ther was friction.I won't listen to the new AIC because its not the same. Jerry sold out AIC. I respect him as a musician but AIC sould have died with Lanye in 2002.

I respect your opinion, dude, but I have to disagree. In my view, Alice In Chains was just as much Jerry as it was Layne. Jerry was their main songwriter - a lot of their songs were written by him. I'm glad that he, as well as Sean and Mike, are getting the chance to play those songs again, especially as it gives new generations of fans like myself, who were too young to appreciate AIC while they were still recording & touring with Layne, a chance to enjoy it. :-)
