if you know what your doing then do it yourself however you take a big risk in breaking something else in side the zune and being out more money, i fix these too you know.

I have a question I turn the thing on it works but all that comes up is the black light. Now when I push the screen in for example leaning on it with my elbow ^I know it's bad for it^ well the screen turn's on then I let go it goes back to the black light. The fuck is wrong with my screen?

did you buy it like that or did it happen while in your possession, because that could either be a manufacturing defect, or somehow the the screen came apart or is not fully attached to the board.

Okay, today my Zune's screen broke, and I have never dropped it. By research, I have come to the conclusion that the lithium ion battery in the Zune swells from overheating and applies pressure to the screen, thus causing it to crack. I now know how to disassemble it, but could you please tell me where I can get another LCD screen to replace the broken one?

Hey dude i have a qestion, my zunes backlight isnt working and i dont kno why. i turn it on and i have to use a flash light just to see the words. wat can i do?

well there is a setting on the zune that is for the back light, maybe you need to turn that level up. also the lcd gets dimmer every second its on so if its old it might just need to be replaced.
