  • Congrats for the tutorials, they are amazing! However, I also would love to learn about some others things that I think I can't do with Sandbox, like creating a costumized HUD for my game, a pause menu to save the game, change the configs, a main menu for chossing new or load game, etc. Because even if you create a amazing game with Sandbox, it will become a kind of a demo, and I don't want to do just a beautiful landscape with things to shoot, I also want to create a campaign. Thank you.

  • dude how i can make to drive with tank how i script it please help

  • How did u learnt to use Cry Engine 3?

  • I love you lol. Thank you so much for making these tutorials, Im currently going to school for Game and Simulation Programming. Your tutorials help me a lot.

  • hello i was learing udk but i didnt continue becuase bucky who was making the tutorials decided not to continue.

i want to start this series hoping you will not quit like him.

can you promice me you will teach us to become professionals?

  • @unlaughable yeah..... but it will take time

  • @unlaughable 3DBuzz also has UDK video tutorials(complete series)

  • Networking in CE3 ... pl0x ?

  • You are AMAZING! Thank you for all of this.

  • @CyberGameArts

Could it be that you are german?

Your pronunciation sounds like you are.. :D

  • Any chance someone will make a tutorial on how to enable enemy AI in multiplayer mode?

  • wai does cryengine 3 come with 3ds max cuz i dont have it if it doesnt

  • @DarkAssassins1313 first thing: your english is terrible

    2. thing: 3DS Max costs about 3,500$ so if you've got the money, get it. I wont ship with the SDK

  • @TheNeoLegends lmao yeah typo but fuck that thats not worth $3,000 i'd pay 20 to get it but not that much

  • @DarkAssassins1313 you have no idea about what you can do with it. If you know it, you'll pay the 3,500$

  • @DarkAssassins1313 Wikipedia-> List_of_films_made_with_Autodesk_3ds_Max

  • You are awesome. I don't understand how you know all those about crysis SDK, unity et al. you sound about 17... Dutch are cool.

  • yo good job on ur stuff man helps a lot!

  • how can i make my own objects/buildings? Am i able to make them using Cryengine 3?

  • I would like to see a cryengine tutorial that allowed the user to start from scratch:

void >> room/floor (not terrain yet) >> light ( control of interior light quality and shadowing! vsm shadows? pcf shadows? self shadowing softness control? with custom light? Not default daylight cycle ) >> import maya character asset into this room >> trigger for characters animation >> publish!

seems simple but such a tut that brings the engine down to what a basic 3d editing package achieves doesnt exist?

  • @theuglyman0war I will show you that, trust ne

  • @CyberGameArts

Thanks! That would be awesome, but because of the world sandbox emphasis of the editor...

I am beginning to think that level of control is not possible without a lot of coding. ( which wouldn't be so bad either, but the cry dev docs don't exactly hold yer hand in the way that gamebryo docs did for example ) :-(

  • (raised eyebrows) Really? Is it possible to add my own voice-overs?

Also, could I send you an inbox message explaining the start of the game to give you an idea of what I'm trying to achieve?

  • But really, your tutorials are brilliant! Thanks to you, I can finally make an amazing first-person shooter. When it's done, I'll record the gameplay in FRAPS and upload it to Youtube. Also, another few things I want to learn; people talking in-game when not in cutscenes, putting in voice acting, subtitles, custom sound effects (I want players to hear my main character groaning in pain - voiced by me - when they should find cover), etc. Please do all of this, too!

  • @ArukusEon Thanks that means alot to me!!! Don't worry i will make you a master

and also cover the topics you have addressed

  • I would like to know how to get the Nanosuit from Crysis into CryENGINE 3 SDK, because I've seen many videos using something called CryENGINE Sandbox3 where gameplay is basically like Crysis 2. How do you get that?

Another thing; I would really, really love to know how to make multiplayer! Maps I can make, but how to get the multiplayer working and stuff is what I need to be taught.

  • @ArukusEon you have the Crysis 2 like gameplay when you use the sandbox instead of the SDK. For the sandbox you have to have Crysis 2 installed, it picks the assets directly from the game. The SDK is standalone, but without these assets.

  • I really wanna learn but your voice and just the way you speak and pronounce shit is fucking annoying.

  • can you make a tutorial how to install cryEngine 3 in photoshop cs5 as plugin. thnks

  • @roshmericejanbong I it will come soon

  • I really hope youre going to go through all of this! :)

  • its nice that you provide people who have not bought the cookbook with knowledge. :) thank you a lot man!

  • I guess it's nice to have a video counterpart to 'Cryengine 3 CookBook' ;)

All those topics are in that book. Btw your video tutorials will definitely provide greater understanding of all those topics visually.

I have subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work. :)

  • you're whispering.. haha XD

  • These are all great topics but I would consider doing things first that teach fundamentals of Game Development so people can get up and running. I am not sure if the Editor has any modeling capabilities such as UDK's BSP Brushes. However, Lighting and Materials are always the most important part. Plus, sound and scripting is also up there. So Material Editor, Asset importing (and correct file/library placement), Lighting parameters, scripting, and sound creation should be understood first.

  • why did you wisper ? xD

  • @MaximilianPs it was early in the morning and didn't want to wake everybody up.

  • Comment removed

  • What about different gameplay styles (platformer, 3rd person) ??? ! can't we make those in Cryengine with scripting?

  • @JONIMASAKIS yes you can but you need to use the cryengine as a whole!

  • @CyberGameArts what do you mean as a whole? I need a license and stuff? Isnt it like UDK, where you just script controllers and all others?

  • @JONIMASAKIS Well, yes its a bit like that, but there is still hard coding.

  • @CyberGameArts Why do you say that? I have a few controllers in javascript. The only thing left is re-write them in c++

  • Do you think you could do tutorials on blender and cryengine 3 SDK like your doing for 3d Max?

  • @Mrjonnyboy2828 I think I will cover that. Thank you for asking

  • @CyberGameArts Also when i go generate map my map doesn't show up in perspective view. Any Ideas why?

  • can't wait!!!! ^^

  • @Sumilidonx Thank you very much!!!

  • dude your the only one with decent cryengine 3 sdk tuts out there! or maybe even the only one who actually has tutorials! keep it up and i cant wait to see more tuts!

  • @tenpindan thank you! That means a lot to me

  • Second Comment!

  • Nice! :D
