  • Obviously this Tom15452 doesn't know what they are talking about..from their responces they do not seem to really know much about nursing or being a doctor. They are just getting their so called knowledge from tv or the internet. They are using what VERY little they know to try and piss people off. Quite pathetic, albiet interesting to read, but sad and pathetic. Now if they are a doctor...well I can tell their bedside manner truly sucks and I feel for their patients.

  • My name is Simone D. this video was very helpful in giving information on the requirements and duties of a critical care nurse.

  • Hey my name is Jhanavi, I am a first year Nursing student. This video is pretty intense. The Nurse in this video is very honest, it is very true that if a Nurse is not on top of her game then the patient ultimately dies. I do also agree with her, Nursing is an excellent choice especially with the baby boomers reaching at the age where they would need critical or periodic medical care.

  • I could not have chosen a better career for myself. Also a first semester nursing student from FAMU I had to look up this video for a class assignment but this feel more like a joy than anything. Fall 2013 here I come.

  • I am extremely excited that i have chosen nursing as my career choice. As a first semester nursing student watching this video reminds that the hard work, time and effort im putting in now wil pay of Fall 2013! :-)

  • 98% of the doctors I've encountered come into the patient's room, add a new medication to the list and walk out, spending two minutes in the room. Who do you think is getting your labwork done, ensuring the medication dosages are accurate so they don't KILL you, watches for adverse reactions, the first one to respond to your heart monitor going off, cleans and redresses your wounds; hell, talks to you? That's not even 1/20 of what nurses do. And they do that for 5-10 patients. Ignorant.

  • @kiranah they push meds to 20 patients, thats a good use of your brain and your stupid 4 years of Nursing School! :D

  • "if im not on top of my game.....my patience DIES." dayum! this has put me off now loool! so intense but i guess its true lol

  • I never realized just how intense nursing could be! I also wasn’t aware of the dangers. I just saw the film Puncture, which is based on the real story of a lawyers fight to get safety needles used in hospitals to prevent accidental needle injuries. It’s really great and opened my eyes to issues I didn’t know existed, and I’ve been sharing it with my nursing friends! bitly. com/uFKgzC

  • @smilesatyourfuneral....Nurses time to understand u are just there to push drugs.

--> yeah keep on believing that LOL

  • People can say what they want about nurses not being important, but from I witnessed when my cousins were in the hospital was the nurses taking care of them when they were in pain, and they'd brighten their day with jokes and trying to make the patients feel better. So you guys should really keep your rude comments to yourself.

  • A hospital without doctors can at least last a week but a hospital without nurses cannot last a day.

  • @miracleofjeni yeah but nobody cares hospitals are doctor driven and they dont give a flying fuck about any stupid nurse from the bedpan up to the ventilator, the money is just NOT worth the eroding of your dignity ,self esteem.

  • How can nurses care for people properly when they are slaved out /overworked/ numb from being overwhelmed with unreasonable workloads? Who is responsible? Why isn't their enough money for quality labor environments/ wages that match the stress and responsibility? It comes from high places...be politically informed to find the answers...watch MONEY CHANGERS- THE INTERNATIONAL BANKERS documentary. Open your eyes as to where public money for healthcare is going and it's not to the people.

  • @courage9070 Slaved out and overworked? alot of nurses only work 3 times a week... 12 hour shifts... DOCTORS are overworked.. nurses can ge plenty of time off.

  • With careers in the medical industry on a rapid increase, pursuing an education in any one of the many medical technical career fields is a way to provide job security, excellent pay and an exciting career.

  • essa mulher parece muito ansiosa e lava as mãos sem tirar o anel nem o relógio e no final escorre as mãos para baixo...hahha!

  • Oh I love what she says!

  • Iam a nurse in Denmark and I love my job. ;)

  • Nurses are really MDs. It's funny..a few of my friends moms are nurses and I've hung

Out with them at the hospitals for years...I'd rarely see an MD doing anything but the nurses run themselves into the ground. They do amazing work.

  • Very good vid, ididnt know what iwaanna be in th future but ithink ido now

  • I am a current nursing student and I found this video to be very informative.

  • tooloftrade is crazy nurse is just a nurse ou cannnot compare her with doctors ... how in this world u say that nurse is equal to a MD doctor it takes god darm 8 yrs to be a doctor and intense study it is not a child game to be a doctor .. grow up and gets ure facts right

  • @Nicole3900 You need to go back to highschool since you have NO CLUE. My fiancee is a nurse. Nurses ARE below doctors. Nurses do the grunt work for the doctors. Doctors are busy diagnosing patients, nurses carry out the instructions from the doctors for anything above common procedure. If you spent an hour in the hospital and had an ounce of common sense, you would realize this.

  • @lostpacket Nurses are NOT below doctors. Yes, nurses do follow instructions from the doctors, but that does not mean they are below them. Everybody in the hospital has a role. Doctors give a diagnosis. Nurses provide primary care based on the doctors and their own diagnosis. Pharmacists produce drugs based on both the doctors and the nurses data on the client. If your fiance feels that way about her job, she's probably a victim of burnout or horizontal violence.

  • @smilesatyourfuneral Nurses diagnose and treat?? WTF??? Nurses time to understand u are just there to push drugs.

  • @Tom15452 Umm yes... Nurse practitioners can run there own clinic WITHOUT any doctors, and diagnose and treat, just as a doctor does.. they are much like a Physicians assistant, but they DONT need to be supervised by a Doctor

  • @lostpacket : much of what nurses do are directed by physician, but what you fail to understand is that nurses monitor response to treatment so the doctor will come up with an accurate treatment.. if youre given a drug for the heart , we need to check if youre gonna develop any adverse reaction and relay it to the doctor, so you have to know all of the adverse reaction that the drug may give,.. it's a complimentary roles rather than hierarchical relationship that youre trying to argue

  • @lostpacket They are not below doctors!!!!! You have no idea what you're talking about. They're two totally different careers. They work side-by-side. Nurses take care of the patients; doctors just give the orders. It takes them BOTH, together. Nurses are in no was "UNDER" doctors!!! If I, as a highschooler, can realize and understand this, than it should be clear as day to you. Just because I'm a teenager doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about.

  • This girl looks like she is on math. Adrenaline junky:) I love critical care but I think she just look high. I would not be able to work with her. Chill out girl!!!! lol

  • nursing jobs is to clean the bodies of patients...

  • @418021 Bwahahahah virgin? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Umm no. Actually been in oh 2 and half year relationships, and a 3 year as well. Virgin no way. I think you need to sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. Go ahead and make fun of my educational back ground. YOU HARDLY even have an education. What are you a Freshman? Yeah fuck off princess.

  • @418021 You are 19 years old, and calling my degree useless? Wow go fuck yourself. You WILL NEVER get into nursing school EVER. Cunt.

  • To mrrobu goodluck do what You want! Nurse and loviin it

  • my friends have been giving me those most crap because i want to become a nurse they say its perdominantly a womens job but i like to help others and this is what i want ! wish me luck

  • @mrrobu go for it. in my class there are more than 30 men. there is nothing called a womens or mans job. sorry my bad engelish ;) I wish you luck you will lov to be a nurse.

  • People are admitted to the hospital because they require 24-hour nursing care. It's as simple as that. Nurses are the raison d'etre of hospitals.

  • What a beautiful calling.

  • she almost cry at 3:22...guess some one she love left her a perm. scar.

  • Wow. This was nursing in the good old days. (and definitely not in FL) I miss my old job up North.

  • I've been missing a stethoscope like the one on her neck, now I know who stole it

  • I feel that students should use calculators on the exam to become a nurse.. If u agree with me add me to friends and subscribe. We will not stop until all students gain the same opportunity to use calculators on the exam!!!!!!!!!

  • to all the haters. if you arent a nurse you just wont ever understand how complex their role is

  • LMAOOOO what type of nurse wash their hand like that? lol :/

  • This is my biggest dream, this job. I am a future Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and I already love my job!!!

  • Im 24, and i am dumping up my major which was business administration and was pursuing a bachelor in management in technology, the demand is very low for my major, besides pursing waht i really like being a nurse now, i know my job will always be in demand. it was a waste of time choosing administration.

  • I guess that made sense.

  • Very inspiring!!! :) God bless our profession!

  • @jxtsful the truth is, nurses do run the hospital. whether you like it or not, there will always be a nurse who works in the four corners of the hospital. And please put it in your "i know everything because i am a doctor" brain that we dont envy the white coats that you wear.... low self esteem? wow if nurses are born this way then all patients are probably dead!

  • @jxtsful haha, i think this guy has issues. You very clearly have no idea what your talking about and for some reason harbor a grudge against nurses. and its usually the person putting others down for no reason that has the 'self esteem issues' i dont see any nurses acting superior to docs in any of these comments, just you acting like a dick talking trash for no reason, so who has the self esteem issue?

  • @joemrp05 No Nurses are the ones having issues, look at them always bitching around, just shows how low self esteem and inferiority complex they have.... otherwise they wouldn't waste time trying to prove 24/7 they are worth it, they know more than you... LOL " i dont see any nurses acting superior to docs " welcome to real life... moron.

  • @joemrp05 im guessing you have something against us because of your judging and put-down comments maybe you failed nursing school or something your problem maybe your nurse girlfriend left ha ha lol

  • Low self esteem people...

  • im agree with this persons video nursing is sot e. wo. rding t. o you life and soul

  • This woman nurses her brain? Front line of medicine? God lady you WISH you could be a doctor.

  • @ToolOfTrade I have a lot more respect for nurses than I do doctors. Too many of them think they're above everyone and get all the credit when it's really the nurses who deserve it. Without nurses, these doctors would be lost.

  • @ToolOfTrade Doctors & nurses are completely different careers. Nurses are not under doctors, they work beside them. You should really stop thinking about nurses that way. Nurses are no less than doctors, and doctors are no higher or better than nurses. They're completely different careers. At least with nursing you're not in university for 8 or more years or working 24/7. And I am not biased because I'm in high school without a career. I'm considering both nursing and/or becoming a doctor.

  • @Nicole3900 "Nurses are not under doctors, they work beside them. " yeah lets see if Nurses can run a hospital... scary thing....

  • @jxtsful Nurses are involved in running hospitals just as much if not more then doctors.

  • @joemrp05 just getting orders and making residents life impossible... nurses who give hard time to residents are the ones who have very low self esteem or inferiority complex so they can show up their value. LOL

  • @joemrp05 nurses run the hospital because they push medicine... thats it. :D

Its time for RN to understand what they are NURSES!

  • @Tom15452 your statements are IGNORANT... do som research before you post.. A nurse Practitioner can run their on hospital WITHOUT the help of a doctor

  • @SuperMadklown LOL sure... u guys there to push drugs... your are the ignorant and arrogant thinking nurses are doctors.

  • @Tom15452 BAHAHA your a MORON... nowhere did i ever say that Nurses are doctors. how about yo making your self look like a jackass and go look up "Nurse Practitioner".. They can diagnose and treat WITHOUT the supervison of a doctor. dumbass.

  • @SuperMadklown Hahaha but you implied it stupid nurse bitch. Nurse practitioner medical knowledge is even inferior to a med student... what can u expect nurses running the whole hospital without docs? LOL

  • @Tom15452 wow you are a fucking idiot.

  • @SuperMadklown Im not a nurse... sorry. Didn't go to nursing school thinking I know as much as a doctor... LOL

  • @Tom15452 You are an idiot..a nurse practitioner and physician assistant both learn the same things doctos do but in a smaller course. a Nurse practitioner who has worked for 10 years i garuntee 100% will know more then a Doc with only a few years exp. just cause someone didnt go to MED SCHOOL doesnt meant they dont know as much... someone can NEVER go to school and learn anything they want.. school just gets you the degree. so stop thinking Med school means they are better then a NP

  • @SuperMadklown Im an idiot ur a nurse... LOL10 years of working with low medical knowledge can't beat a freaking med student. :D

  • @Tom15452 Low medical knowledge? were you dropped on your head as a child?... wow your dumb..a NP is much like a Physicians assistant... but they can work WITHUT a doctor superviing them... they diagnose the sam tings doctors do... experience beats text book every time... 5-10 years on the floor would beat any medical studant 10/10 times... if you think otherwise then you OBVIOUSLY are mentally retarded and dont know anything. your just an idiot kid.

  • @Tom15452 I don't understand why people don't respect nurses? If you wanna be a doctor all you need is a good memory :/ being a nurse is not as easy as some people might think. And what would doctors do without them? :| It's not a true that if someone isn't smart enough he becomes a nurse. Nursing is about connection with people and making them feel comfortable and safe in the hospital, not about walking around with no knowledge and following some presuming, narcissus, all-knowing doctors...

  • @jxtsful I know lots of nurses who "run hospitals"....CEO's; managers; Dept. chairs are many times nurses. They do fantastic jobs. There is rarely a physician in an administrative position.

    Nurses rock!

  • @Nicole3900 Yes I totally agree. Nursing is such a underestimated career. People should appreciate nurses more, espeically what they do in critical care

  • @stupidbrain1 my name is ijen imwensi

  • Oh god get in the kitchen and get me a beer. "I went back and got my second bachelors degree" These fucking idiots.....

  • @ToolOfTrade And what big thing did you accomplished, dude, besides sounding like some insecure little nothing? Why don't you go scrub my toilet.

  • @bklynAtrain Scrub your toilet? What big thing I accomplished? Hmmmm Bachelors in fine Arts, and a Masters in Fine Arts. Fuck off asshole. What do you do again? This woman is dumber than a box of rocks.

  • im 17 after i graduate im planning on getting a 2 year degree in X Ray Tech then joining the Army for X Ray tech so I have experience and somthing to put on my resume.

  • What a huge steaming pile of dog crap. Half the nurses I have dealt with barely speak English. The other half would rather spend the effort fighting you than doing their jobs. At least the foreign nurses are willing to work. Unfortunately, they can't pronounce important words like "penicillin". The male nurses are the worst. They are homosexuals, angels of death and foreign doctors who can't pass the boards in the USA.

  • @Jefgg Just think if none of them cared for you an in emergency situation and left you to fend for yourself? You wouldn't last 2 hours. You sound like a chornic complainer, always whinning and never satisfied with anything like some constipated old man.

  • @bklynAtrain I am glad your experiences with nurses have been positive. Most nurses start out with good intentions. Then they worry more about their petty fiefdoms than helping people. Where I live most of the nurses are atrocious. They would rather pick their VD scabs than do their jobs. And if you have the nerve to advocate for a loved one they view that as an act of rebellion against their authority.

  • @Jefgg HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm a student nurse from Bulgaria. You know, I'm proud of my choice for proffesion. It' s really awesome. It' s hard studing, there too many and complicated exams, but I'll be waiting to finish my edication and begin to work. When I'm in practise in the hospital, I know it's my pace and always will be :)

  • when your attached to the heart monitor machine dont masturbate it scare the shit outta the nurses

  • She washed her hands wrong...

  • for some reason i want to have hardcore sex with her... :)

  • She needs to lay off the energy drinks. I'd be scared to death to work with this woman!

  • @docsnavely

Yep. The ones that "volunteer" to make these so-called documentaries are scary. They're also difficult to work with as they're "out-there" with their gung-ho attitudes. Not realistic.

  • She needs to lay off the energy drinks. I'd be scared to death to work with this woman.

  • this nurse looks very highly strung...

  • lol some of these comments are hilarious!!! Stick to your unions tight as nurses are treated poorly void of good management which is an oxymoron short in itself.

  • @timewaltz, dude get your facts straight who ever told you that watches are forbidden definitely are ET's who work in a hospital in some other planet. and wow you're just a first year nursing student? i guess you have so much to learn. just keep your mouth shut and learn.

  • People told me that they want to go into the nursing field and my advice to them is that i discouraged them to only because it's stressful dealing with a lot of responsibility of the patients, families, doctors, and all other people who are involved with the patients. Choose a career that has only 1 role in the patient's care and that doesn't deal with people as much, i suggest the following: pharmacist, respiratory therapist, radiology tech, physical therapist.

  • and its kind of funny that all you nursing students just do it for the money not for helping sick and depressing patients all day. If the salry was 23,000 a year I bet 100% you wouldnt join this market.

  • @123nypd just finished nursing school, you wouldnt believe the amount of students that do it for money. its usually fast to pick up the ones who do it for the wrong reasons. in the near future this field will be saturated with nurses that go against all of the values of nursing.

  • @dizzygemini86 lol good one.

  • @NamekianPikkoro7 ....... "Mostly quiet and seem hateful to most people. Truth is, I don't really like people much. I try to avoid people."

After reading your profile I can imagine what kind of person you are. The kind no one wants to be around. You have a shitty attitude and now I understand why you're a failure. You DO NOT belong in the medical field. you're a cold, inhumane person. Find work at the morgue. That's where you belong in my opinion.

    I'm blocking you now.

    Have a nice day.

  • nursing is stressful and they get treated like shit im a business student and laugh at the nursing students every time I see them; Ernest and young here I come!

  • Its all propaganda. There is no nursing shortage and if you like "helping" people do it in a different way. You will get abused on a daily basis from patients, other nurses, doctors. You clean up shit and you're treated like shit. To the ones who don't know what they are getting into, just remember I warned you!

  • "Well compensated" for what you do...., I'm sorry, are we doing the same job. Crit care nursing, or any nursing for that fact, is incredibly underpaid and under-resourced when you consider the amount of study and shift work required. Any other 'trade', that you call out during the middle of the night, will charge you triple figures just for the call out. I like helping people, but a large portion just abuse myself, my collegues and our good nature. No wonder they need propagana videos. I'm out.

  • and, our scrubs harbor just as much bacteria as do a watch. Anyways, I am not dissing you but I really hate that you are being taught such nonsense. I can absolutely assure you that you can wear a watch. Good luck with your nursing career it is really fun.

  • Well timewaitz......I hate to break it to you but it is obvious that you are a first year nursing student. Watches are absolutely not forbidden and I don't know where you got that crazy idea. You are right about them carrying thousanda of bacteria but come on now, nurses have to have a freaking watch. When I was in nursing school we were issued watches that matched our uniforms and I still to this day wear a watch. Maybe you can't wear one in OB or surgery since sterility is such a big issue.

  • Well timewaitz......I hate to break it to you but it is obvious that you are a first year nursing student. Watches are absolutely not forbidden and I don't know where you got that crazy idea. • is she slightly high?...so self-satisfied. i want to vomit

  • @usernamessucks01 There is nothing worse than a nurse with a huge ego. They are the Nurse Ratcheds or worse, the angels of death. I had to change neurologists because his nurse is an egotistical cunt. I asked her why I needed a test and her answer was "it's in your best interest". It was a totally valid question and well within my rights. So I complained to the HMO and changed doctors immediately. People need to realize doctors and nurses work for YOU.

  • @Jefgg i was just so annoyed with her. Hmm, sometimes nurses tend to overlook you as a person and just focus on doing their job. All i can say as a nurse is that if you dont really have the passion in your job you wont go through that extra mile for your patients, i dont want to become that person. We get so caught up between doctor's orders and the patient's. it demands so much from you, most of the time you feel empty and drained, rarely rewarding but when it does, its worth it. take care

  • Barf. I am a 2009 graduate from a 4 year BSN program...I applied for 60 positions all over the US to find a damn job...Blah, blah.

  • What a croc of shit. Half of the nurses where I live are fat lazy cows with surly attitudes. The other half are Filipina sluts who can't speak English. These cunts are more concerned about their petty fiefdoms than helping people. And they have zero clue what HIPAA is. They refuse to tell you anything even if the consent form was signed. I guess finding that form is too much work for those useless hippos.

  • @Jefgg If another man would give you a legal paper with fancy words that you don't understand, would you sign it? What if that legal form states that are guilty of killing another individual? You should NEVER have signed that form knowing that you're not well informed.

  • Commercialization of healthcare has resulted in us loosing the Human face of Medicine". Its an illusion to beleive doctors save lives, doctors can only postpone death. We now have no medicine that cure because we allowed people to abuse antibiotics. In UK, nurses are made to believe they can diagnose and treat patients in primary care using algorithm - see what happens if you diagnose and treat patients - watch my video "Un-ethical medical practice".

  • Nurse Blue says Safe Nursing saves Lives. Have a listen and spread her words around people. Nurses are under valued

  • I think we should all quit worrying about what she did or did not do correctly. This is a recruiting video and she did a most awesome job.

  • Seriously, this is a tough job, but i'm glad there are people who are strong enough to do it...that's why there's a shortage, they do some amazing but gruelling work.

Just remember nurses, that ultimately you give a tough kind of love, you save people's lives, and help them get through the most difficult times in their life, something nobody handles "well". So thank you.

  • Wow, she really isn't that good of a nurse... She must have known that wearing a watch is forbidden in every way, when you are at work... Watches are covered in thousands and thousands bacteria... If she works in a clinic or hospital, a watch is forbidden.. She surely must have known that what she does by wearing one isn't acceptable... And yes, I do know what I'm talking about, I'm a first-year student in a nursing-school

  • @florre01 I'm a fourth year nursing student. Watches are required and essential! At our school they check every day during clinical to make sure you have it! You need to be able to have easy access to a watch with a sweeping second hand. This is required for charting especially when taking some ones vital signs or in the event of a cardiac arrest! (or any other emergency where charting is imperative)

  • @hollylola55 We have a solution as a matter of fact. It's called a 'verpleegstershorloge' or in english "a nurses watch" (i think, i've googled it in both words and it is almost the same picture). This you need te clip onto your pocket. It does not contain the germs you have on your wrists, because its connected to the clothes. We are obliged to buy one, and if we wear a wristwatch during our training, we fail... And wow, wth, fourth year Ö, we've only got to do 3 in belgium...

  • @florre01 i have seen those watches too. lucky you only have to do 3 years. i wish i was done already! :). wierd how different countries work. we fail if we dont wear a watch. lol.

  • @florre01 continued... you are right about the spread of germs that is why you need to have a watch with a metal band that can be disinfected regularly. (I like to use the CaviWipes for disinfecting). You will understand the importance when you have a patient that codes on you and you are responsible for charting....you cant be looking for a clock in the room, you have to stand off in the corner and scramble to take notes... therefore a watch is a necessity!

  • @florre01 really I'm a first year nursing student and we are REQUIRED to wear watches. How else are you going to assess respirations and heart rate?

  • @rlhtsvm Like i've explained tot hollylola55, we need to buy a "verpleegsterhorloge" or in english a "nurses watch" (google it). It's also a watch, but it's attached to the clothes, so it does not contain the germs...

  • @rlhtsvm Oh idk... how about the CLOCKS IN THE ROOM??? lol or you can buy the stethoscope watch

  • @florre01 In a few more years, you'll understand that you'll need a watch at work.

  • @timewaitz Are you retarded or what?! I've told you I HAVE A WATCH! MORON! For fucks sake, read as it is! I have one ATTACHED TO THE CLOTHERS! Are you blind, or what?!

  • @florre01 Before you call someone a "MORON", PLEASE READ WHAT YOU WROTE. Can you specifically point to me where you've written/told me that you have a watch??? I believe you NEVER wrote in your first comment that you have a watch.

What I understood from your first comment is that you are:

    1. Against the fact that she's wearing a watch due to what you said "covered in thousands and thousands of bacteria.

    2. Being a nurse, wearing a watch is "forbidden" in the hospital/clinic.

  • @timewaitz now then, if you're so sure i've never mentioned it, how do you explain i've told on the 2nd comments page THAT I DO HAVE A WATCH ?!, one attached to the clothes?! Asswipe

  • @florre01 "Wow, she really isn't that good of a nurse... She must have known that wearing a watch is forbidden in every way, when you are at work... Watches are covered in thousands and thousands bacteria... If she works in a clinic or hospital, a watch is forbidden.. She surely must have known that what she does by wearing one isn't acceptable... And yes, I do know what I'm talking about, I'm a first-year student in a nursing-school" - Do you remember this?

  • @florre01 FYI, you just mentioned that you have a watch when you made a comment about my reply telling you that you'll need a watch at work.

If you've forgotten already, here's what you wrote as a REPLY to my comment: Are you retarded or what?! I've told you I HAVE A WATCH! MORON! For fucks sake, read as it is! I have one ATTACHED TO THE CLOTHERS! Are you blind, or what?!

Please get your FACTS straight before using demeaning words that a PRUDENT nurse should know not to use!!!

  • @timewaitz Asswipe! I've said it way before your post! I've told it to hollylola55. Please GET YOUR FACTS TOO! Goddamned, you're really are one hell of an asswipe! i've told her i use a "verpleegstershorloge". Go and search all of the posts before acting like a total dick... Those are now on page 3... If you're capable of using my first post against me, you should be capable to read my others as well. Asswipe!

  • @florre01 Wow! Are you that popular that I SHOULD read all your post? FYI, YOU NEVER REFERENCED YOUR THE COMMENT THAT STARTED THIS THREAD. Try reading it (IF YOU KNOW HOW TO READ) and you'll know why I replied in such manner. By the way, are you calling me an "asswipe"? Can I call you an "ass" so at least the "asswipe" will WIPE the ASS?

  • @timewaitz it is you that started the whole: "you never posted it"-thing... So if you didn't read the other posts, you should just SHUT UP! Since you've referenced to my first post, almost in all your posts, why should I? Stop being an asshole, and get a life dude... I'm done with it, i know i'm right...

  • @florre01 Really? I've told you to read what you have posted. Now you call me an asshole when you're the ass? Verry funny! I'll post what you have written ok? Tell me what it means if you have read it!

  • @timewaitz "Wow, she really isn't that good of a nurse... She must have known that wearing a watch is forbidden in every way, when you are at work... Watches are covered in thousands and thousands bacteria... If she works in a clinic or hospital, a watch is forbidden.. She surely must have known that what she does by wearing one isn't acceptable... And yes, I do know what I'm talking about, I'm a first-year student in a nursing-school" -- Can you tell me what this means?

  • She says it really as it is. its a tough and big responsibility

  • Where in the world does she work?!!!! Her salary has gotten better and she is compensated well? Are you kidding me? And she loves her job please let me know where you work!

  • This nurse needs to blink more. She scares me.

  • "I have to use my brain everyday" lol I hope so!

  • @sakurafleurs lmao agree

  • I have been a CC nurse and have always felt honored to be a part of it. Yes, all of the comments are valid, but the fact that WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE in someone's life cannot be diminished.

  • fr0de...do you know what gloves are? And hand washing,my friend, has been well-studied and well-documented as the #1 method to reduce pathogen transmission in a hospital.

  • Sad to say, nurses like this one are few and far between. Most choose nursing just for the paycheck.Nursing managers on the most part do not do their jobs to weed out the ones that do not provide the proper care that patients should get.I see this on a daily basis.I wish all nurses were like this one.Two thumbs up..well done.

  • Yeah unfortunately Excellent RN's would never want to work with the VA and deal with messed up guys.

  • Medicine is becoming the candy stand for drug seekers, who NOW control IF the hospital even gets paid for their fix, based on their satisfaction! 'I have 12/10 abd pain-only ONE drug helps with this,it starts with a 'd', not darvocet, not demerol, ahhh yes, dilaudid-and hurry up, and where's my meal tray? When discharged, they go onto the next hospital and do it all again, and AGAIN! We were taught you do NOT Rx abd pain, lest you can't dx problem. I wouldn't order them SH*T

  • I've been an RNx20yrs, I don't know ANYONE who could say they are well compensated! WHERE do you work? I am CCC/trauma, total RN care, 2 pt each-vent, sedated, titrating multi drips, 3 RNs, 6 patients, one being 500lb screws the day-AND your back-and are EXPECTED to work short, despite having the most critical patients b/c we ''only take 1-2 patients' per administration-well some patients require 3+ nurses running to keep them alive-and I don't mean in a code! I love nursing, but nursing SUCKS.

  • Want to watch a student nurse being interviewed by a narcissist? Visit EconomyFree's channel and watch, "The Nurse".

  • @EconomyFree ROFL! awesome!

  • @KDjMusik Thank you. Very kind of you.

  • she's wearing a watch. Thats against the basic hygiene knowledge for nurses. She's even washing her hands with it on!

  • I am BSc Nursing, i felt very good while working but got negative responce even from those patient for whom we care for 3 to 4 weeks, then i regret going in to this field, even 90% patient pay no respect to us.

  • I'm a nurse major and I see this as a difficult career! I am like wow!

  • Nurses are the eyes and ears (even mouth..heck, sometimes NOSE) of doctors. Without nurses, doctors would have to be awake for 24 hours, monitoring 20++ patients. :P

  • hi, A lecture to more understand what nursing is: find nursing in rnpedia.com
