My favorite song by the Archies. It is full of innocence, worthy of Buddy Holly. The lyrics are great. I could not remember lyrics from any other song that reflected sincere amorous rapture more than this one.

Big Ethel Muggs was played Cindy Ambuehl. It was her acting debut. She has done several projects. The most recent was on CBS' Cold Case on Nov. 19, 2006. That is one of my favorite shows. I wonder if she has any projects underway. Ironically, there is a 12 year age gap between her and Christopher Rich (1953-1966). As Arsenio Hall said, That makes you go Hmmmm?

It's good that these old 60's version Archies cartoons remained in syndication long enough for us kids born in the late 70's to watch along with our own current Saturday Morning cartoons monday thru friday.

Best I remember the afternoon line up was Casper , Popeye then Archies and then the Brady kids. At 4pm was two episodes of the Muppet Show at 5pm sitcoms took over until the 8'oClock movie This was KBHK 44 in San Francisco in the early 80's. Now it's all infomercials & TV court shows...

Great music! The video is so odd, but doesn't hinder anything. Random references to Hot Dog including being part of a clock, pies flying everywhere, Ethel chasing Jughead upside down with transparent butterflies in the background, and other strange things. Also, does anyone notice that Archie has no freckles in the 60's version? It's still great, :P Thanks for posting!

i'm only 14 but when I was 7 or so i'd have to get up an hour early than normal so my mom could drive my sister to school and then me. i used to watch the archies riverdale mysteries on fox and i loved them. good times!
