I have a feeling RTD intentionally slashed some of the dialogue between Ten and the Master. Back during Classic Who, it was nothing but a rivarly, good vs. evil, but RTD is a different breed and I think he knew a lot of fans would ship the two. Oh yeah, and this song rocks!

Well I'm a traditionalist, so I don't buy this as a "ship" as the kids mean that term these days (god, when did I stop being a kid? I'm in my 30s *sob*), but it *is* an excellent display of their *rivalry* down the years. Three/Delgado, Five/Ainley, Seven/Ainley, even Eight/McGann.

This is mindblowingly good. I'd actually seen this vid before I got to see the finale (hey, I'd already figured out who Saxon was, why not?), and I've got to say—I am so very glad that there is a fandom to give us that fix of poison in our Doctor/Master that we need. I loved the show's treatment, too, but this is so thrilling and taut and sexy that it hits the spot damn hard.

I don't think i'm able to say something that hasn't already been said - this vid is A-f***ing-MAZING! Love the old footage from the Pertwee/Delgado era, when the Doctor and the Master clearly had respect for one another as well as a deep hatred. And you're right: the video IS epic!

I don't think it's a love/hate thing with this vid, like Love and Monsters. I'd say it's more like Blink - EVERYBODY loves it!
