I enjoyed this five-part news piece. It's always cool to see news coverage of the arcade craze of the late 1970s/early 1980s, especially when the reporters show respect for video games and don't condescend to those who enjoy playing video games. Well-done!

Thanks for uploading this video. I am in it. I am the Mark at Taito America. You can see me at 5:23. I saw a tape of it back in 1982. I never got a copy of the tape. It was never shown on TV in Chicago. I will now be able to show it to my three children, their wives and my four grandchildren.

I remember playing pinball machines when it was all the rage. Then came video games, and then video arcades. Those were fun times playing games in arcades :)

I have most of these old games on CD and play them on PC sometimes. Although it's not nearly the same experience as the *real thing*, it's as close as one can get to going back to those fun times :)

The 80's was THE single best decade of my life. I sure miss it . . .

@greenrefrigerator youre wrong, the closest you can get to reliving those times is to convert your basement into your own arcade, with restored videos & pinballs. The wow factor you get on peoples face every time is priceless

man I was kid when these Arcade game came out . remember for those who relive all the old and new generation just think about the fun time man. After nice day out with girlfriend and you got nothing to do there was the mall with arcade. chill in with your friends by playing and bs all day. we spend are daily milk money for the thing we try to for the high score.
