  • A solo would have been cool, but I dig your version! The groove is veeeery laid back, I like that.

  • I love your body-percussions man.. I seriously need to try and make something like that as well...

  • who else is playing?

  • You go man, that was sho nuff Funky!!

  • solo jam ftw! :D great piece

  • I loved it a lot, very creative!!!

  • Great version! Fuck all the haters! Homemade music ftw!

  • Awesome!

  • I have to perform this tomorrow and you gave me ideas... YOU ARE AWESOME!! love the arranged!!!

  • This is the type of thing I wish I was doing with my time.

Thanks for making me feel inadequate.... :(

In all seriousness, though, that was completely epic. I really liked how all the tracks fitted together to make an excellent rendition.

  • i actually really enjoy this. as soon as i heard the backing track it reminded me of the headhunters version of the song. i headbanged. :P

  • Un enfant de 3 ans peut le faire...

  • Hahahaha If James Brown and his chorus of black girls make some noice with you, this vid, could be perfect!!!! 5 Stars.

  • You certainly can't take credit for this rendition though- It sounds like an attempt to recreate the recording of the song on Herbie Hancock's Album "Head Hunters" So...

  • Well, Herbie wasn't answering his phone that day so I guess he was too busy to come n play with me. Next time I guess

  • did you use an actual cuica?

  • Haha. I wish, but no that's "voicebox" cuica if you get what I mean.

  • ah, you know you are not the only person to have used that trick. Still, very convincing cuica-ing haha.

  • nice interpretation - groovy!

  • i dig the hell out of this vid man!!!

  • Oh wow, youtube arguments are so cool......it's a cool, funky, funny video, get over it.

  • cool.

  • nice version...

  • Personally, I love it! Nice tribute to the Headhunters album.

  • Interesting - has a New Orleans feel to it...

  • alright, get some inprove in there

  • strange shit i don't like electro parts. you have to feel jazz. sorry

  • There are no electric parts man, it's all recorded on that acoustic baby grand piano you see there. (and me doing stupid things with my voice and mouth)

  • You're wrong on all counts, Bumble. I like it when Bumbles try to be haters on youtube and make ignorant remarks, making themselves look like the foolish ones.

  • right and wrong? i write my own opinion and thats legitimate. show my comments who aren't "foolish" childish nerd.

  • You refered to "electric" parts. That's not subjective, Bumble. That's wrong as a statement of fact. Saying this fella doesn't feel jazz, while a subjective statement, is outrageous. It's pretty obvious this fella does.

There's no shortage of haters on youtube...and they apparently don't let facts get in the way of their trolling. Know what I'm sayin', Bumble?

  • ok im sorry but that sucked

  • I'm sorry you didn't like it, I'll try to do better next time.

  • nice version. that's really creative. melody (what you were playing) could've been more imaginative, but did the background stuff on the piano was pretty cool. if you did that nice job. if you stole it off garage band, whatever, still nice job.

  • hi lydias mate here .

koolness hahaha i'll subscribe to u haha

  • THis is absolute shit...

    5 stars!!

When are u comming home au dick. We want to let off fireworks but i think mum and dad wanna wait for u.

    Fake.

  • U rox, nice nice nice

  • You. Have. The BEST username I have ever seen. On any website. EVER. I'm not joking it's amazing!!!!

  • I agree!!

  • um.... Its an interesting version but are the yelps in the backing track needed? It just seems a bit distracting.

  • Yeah man it's an adaption of the Hindewhu (a traditional african pygmy style of music) which percussionist Bill Summers plays & sings on the original recording on the album Head Hunters. Check it out!

  • THATS SO SICK!lol

  • how come your not playing the other piano part?

  • I multi-tracked it on GarageBand.... haha. Kinda cheating but the point of it was to have a bit of a muck around with the program.

  • i like the ouhh!

  • i have heard it like this before!!!! :D

    the version with Fourplay!!!!

    i love that one!

  • this is just the head hunters arrangement...i dont understand what's so special about this

  • LOL your cool man. I dig you. If I lived wherever you live I totally would makes songs with you. I have a roland fantom myself and love music but I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere and there aren't many inventive people. Nice job.

  • Hey man thanks a lot, honestly. I love getting genuine comments like yours. Where you from?

  • I'm from central Florida. I have this roland fantom x-8 and nobody to play with me. It get's real lonely, ya dig? And you definitely have soul my friend.
