  • Communism?

  • Please make a behind the scenes vid where you show us how you make these.

  • Very insightful. Kudos, Lev

  • Lev, the proposed revision to Lady Liberty's inscription literally earned a real life lol from me. Well done, sir. As usual.

  • This pretty much summed up my views on our country in a nutshell. Nice job Lev.

  • fuck politics, im going to live in a giant hole in the ground

  • 2:53 I've always seen that happening. I don't know why.

  • Why can't I favorite and like this every time I visit?

  • I have never disagreed with anything you've said. do this world a favor, and run it.

  • jeb dont need no fancy pants book learnin

  • Enlightening!... If only more politicians were like you, Good Sir!

  • yeah, and this had nothing to do with what's in your video but I get disgusted when Americans give up on America and condemn it to hell because it's corrupt. Also when they wont say the pledge of allegiance because they disagree with current politics. I realize those were both confused statements; I'm tired, but I think you can guess what I mean. It's hard for government to take care of millions of people, flaws will be made, but hopefully progress will out weigh or at least balance those flaws.

  • :|

I dont really like to hear about how America is doing because my dad has made it clear that America is in a lot of trouble and that kinda depresses me.

  • Thats the first time ive seen color in one of these videos.

Thing is, if the Government dosent Take The Big Pill and removes all these Currupted and idiotic fools out of power we are probably going to go down like all Great Ancient Civilizations.

Pray all you want, God dosent favor one group over the other.Good luck America, your fucked.

  • Great content and you had a kind of Seussian flow going at the beginning. :)

    5 old-youtube stars!

  • i just spotted ann coulter..i think?

  • Ok, I get it. I used the wrong term and said bipartisanship instead of partisanship. My bad guys, I'm human. Anyways, you got the point of what I was trying to say.

  • Very stong toon my friend

yeah, i think you've got it right. The loud people on each side get more camera time. The differnces get more camera time. Civility, the glue that keeps us together, is not celebrated as the key that it is - we really have come a long way and the Internet and technology is a true human revolution that we're livng thru. PEACE and THANKS! Long Live the USA!!!

  • look...i know this is going to sound cliché and repetitive of nearly all the youtube celebrities here and maybe how people are probably going to tell me about how they may or may not exist or even it being a crappy unneeded question..but....AgentXPQ...tell us about your take on the so called 'illuminati' secret society hype that has been going on...but...at the end of the day..you can do whatever the FUCK you wanna do..

  • I used to be worried about wat the news said about our country as well, then i realized they probably always said that and they just say it to get more viewers

  • i just realized the title is half-assed and not hal-fassed. Im an idiot

  • the whole "jeb dont need no book learnins" I'd actually believe

  • sigh... it isn't United States of America, publicly to other nations it's the US or United States... sure we're of America... but to all others we are the United States... many people of the Americas (both north and south) consider themselves Americans... so we're... just of the United States... well enough on that i just felt like saying that and now more of the true words Levni...

  • @234Jillwer34 United States is a correct thing to call the country, but it's an abbreviation none the less. The United States of America is the country's official name. Look at a dollar bill if you don't believe me.

  • @CherryLaxative true...but both are correct so lets agree to semi agree

  • ok im of no relation to the US but amen to that preachin

  • Democrats, Republicans

    Liberals, Conservatives

    Coke, Pepsi

Does it all really matter? Every state is its own indevidual place, with its own indevidual rules, and its own indevidual ideals. What people often realise is that America is only together for the states choose to be a part of it, at any time if a whole group of states where to say, "No, I don't like this" They could leave at any given time.

  • 1:52 - yes thank you!! this is why i don't like healthcare...its generally a good idea but it can be abused far to easilly...as far as the economy goes (which i know you didn't cover but still) i have the solution to everything: we have no money. plans that involve spending or using our money wont work. so we drill oil and export it. money comes in from OTHER countries. we win.

  • but therein lies the problem: it's just a thought. we've (first world countries) become so lazy and passified that we'd rather not take action, and even if we did, the media has become too much of a "product" rather than a conduit of actual news for people. they will just report the news a shocker to gain a big audience, leaving people unwantig to join a riot or something else. we just shurg our shoulders and say "it'll never change, things are the way they are". this needs to change.

  • 2 party system = bi-polar disorder. THEY ARE THE SAME PARTY JUST WITH DIFFERENT NAMES!

  • good to see that there is still common sense in the world, too bad it's far away from where it should be.

  • it's just a thought... wonder why more people can't have it :)

  • Comment removed

  • dont vote

  • If you'll excuse me, I have to go show this to everyone I know... and people I don't know walking outside my apartment... and people I meet in the grocery line...and people next to me at stoplights...

  • sorry but all you guys are indeed assholes : P

    ;)

  • lev, you ever thought about running for president? im not American, but still i think you could prbs do a better job.

  • Personally as a Dem I'd vote for Elderado stamps

  • Eduardo Galeano, a socialist (OMG) latinamerican intellectual, said that the problem with United States is the same of the one in Cuba: the unipartidarism. Even if Republicans and Democrats have differences (and contrasts!) in their speech about power, once one of them is in the government, both creates a simmilar way of politics. Just a thought.

  • and just a great thought yes. thanx!! you rock!

  • That was awesome.

  • Lev, I think the excitement I get when I'm about to watch your videos is similar to the excitement I get when I finally find the Sunday comics after rummaging through the car and classified ads. And then the watching of your video is similar to reading through all of my favorite ones. So thanks for being my Sunday comics. <3

  • "Hey if a terrorist wanted to blow up my house, that's just freedom of speech." HAHAHAHAHA amazing

  • The elephant that no one sees is Capitalism.

  • 2:00 The guy on the left looks like John Howard (former Australian Prime Minister)

  • 0:33 he went totally Dr. Suess on us

  • this reminded me of george carlin

  • @jakk18 being an american myself, i propose we change the name to facesod. ps. lev for president!

  • Great, right on target

  • ....Mr. Rogers?

  • Well thought and true. The divide and conquer tactics are unfortunately working against the American people. Now, what are we going to do about it?

  • You are very brilliant . you talk a lot of thing i think it is absolutely right. i check several your videos and i like them all.

  • It's that fault of our system. From the start it was set up in a way that just destined it to become such a divided two party system.

  • HELL YES! you guys are so fuckin retarded! you are just playing the game like he said! ITS EVERYBODY'S FAULT! So lets exercise our rights and vote them out... Just a thought.

  • Who cares!!!

  • @bryoneill11 wrong again. If more and more people were to point out that fighting each other will get us nowhere then maybe the government and all the people with halfassed and ridiculous arguments as to why we can't get along would take a hint. Sure for a dream to rewrite human nature it's far fetched, but it's a lot better than sitting around waiting for the world to burn. And btw, not voting doesn't do jackshit for your opinion.

  • @greenbunnyluver I dont vote in the USA election because im not from the USA you moron. I just can guess that LEV made this video because the righties in the USA are so fucked up right now with the tea party and their ultra conservative ideals that is scary.

  • @bryoneill11 Hey sweetie, I don't know if you noticed, but I never used the word "USA" anywhere in my comment, so don't put words in my mouth and then call me a moron for it. I specifically said that not voting won't do you any good, which is completely true, it does absolutely nothing. And the tea party is one small group and the majority of republicans aren't in their following. Get your facts straight and learn to read, ditzoid.

  • I dont like this video at all... You left your ideals and beliefs in a desk at your house when you made this video. What I liked about you is that in every video you show you ideals plain and simple, without the fear of what people think. In this video you tried to be in the middle ground. And that sicks me. We all now you are a liberal and cant stand the republicans way of thinking. Just looking at your other videos you can conclude that. This video was a step backwards. take a stand & help us

  • @bryoneill11 I'm not trying to be rude, offensive or hostile in any way but I think you missed the entire point of the video. Thinking in terms of "the Liberals" or "the Conservatives" is exactly the problem. In your mind you guys are "the good guys" and they are "the bad guys" therefore, any agenda your side supports is "good" by definition and theirs are "bad" by definition. Nothing important will ever get done with that way of thinking. Lev is pointing that out in this video.

  • @s4n7i460v I know, I completely agree with you. I used those terms because he did it. I dont even vote in the USA elections. I see this as a global problem. The other Lev videos attacks exactly those problems just by telling a true life story in a very insightful yet very funny way to do it. The archaic and obsolete way of thinking of the world has to stop. We need to educate people through this videos. Something I thought he was doing very well until this video.

  • @bryoneill11 Gotta love your ignorance. Hopefully someday you can take your head out of your *** and think openmindedly.

  • @zapthycat Well Im atheist, pro gay, pro abortion, pro adoption, pro immigrants, pro animals, pro environment, anti guns, anti religion, anti marriage, anti death penalty, pro universal health care, anti wars, pro drugs... I studied in Madrid, London, Cuba, DC, Venice, Israel, and Puerto Rico... So, more open mind than me, doubt it

  • I wish Henry Clay was still alive. He could show politicians today a thing or two.

  • Levni for president of the USA !

  • @spectre750 I am mexican and trust me, Levni for king of the world.

  • I like people who like people from the U.K. cause being in the U.K. is normal and doesn't seem very exotic or exciting. But I bet we all feel that way.

  • vote doctor Ron Paul for president in 2012 .. Ron Paul been trying to warn people that America will end up this way 35 years ago..... he was right then still right now ... please look up Ron Paul .. :)

  • @DataSerpent He's a religious zealot...

Need a termination? Not under Ron Paul, you don't!

  • In politics and sociology, divide and rule (derived from Latin: divide et impera) (also known as divide and conquer) is a combination of political, military and economic strategy of gaining and maintaining power by breaking up larger concentrations of power into chunks that individually have less power than the one implementing the strategy. ...

    wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Divide_and_rule

  • Your wrong

  • I'm right

  • shit just got deep

  • Amen. Bipartisanship is what is killing our country. We can't call ourselves the United States of America until we actually start working together, regardless of what party you associate with.

  • @TheJazzyK I take it you don't actually know what bipartison means, and the fact that this is a top comment makes me sad.

Heart's in the right place though, I agree with the sentiment!

  • @TheJazzyK It's not killing our country, the US has functioned (for the most part) with a bipartisan government since the beginning. A democracy where everyone believes the same things isn't a democracy. I think the duel party system is a vital part of our nation and our ability to function as the most powerful, most effective, and most long lived democracy in history. The problem isn't bipartisanship, it's the hostility between the parties seen whenever the nation isn't doing well.

  • @AndHoldTheMayo While I applaud you for politely disagreeing with this persons statement without resorting to the typical 12 yr old youtuber comment, "ur retarded", I also feel the need to contradict you. Getting rid of the 2-party system won't cause an America where "everyone believes the same things." Here you seem to be implying that we can't think for ourselves. It causes political bias where politicians vote according to lobbyist agenda vs their own personal beliefs.

  • @TheJazzyK I think you mean partisanship. Bipartisanship means working together.

  • @TheJazzyK Um, you mean partisanship, right?

  • Comment removed

  • Great philosophy. :)

  • you weren't attacked by terrorists that time

  • There are just some stubbern people who dont want to give in to the others opinion or, way of life, and try to en-force theirs, but then again the others look the same way at the opposing opinion.

  • Jeb don't need no fancy pants book learnin.HaHaHa you remind me so much of myself!

  • Anyway, the discussion has never been what everyone wants. But how to achieve it...

  • Forget Mitt Romney Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul and Obama! AgentXPQ for president!

  • Nice art, but i think it's rather misleading using the word 'terrorist' instead of 'FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.' And anyone that disagrees with that needs to get their ass out of their matrix. lmao

  • lol jeb dont need no fancy pants book learning

  • Sigh* so true~, This our children will forget how to obtain things they want simply because no one will teach them how to work for it and instead try finding shortcuts and "loopholes"

  • If I was a little cuter and Lev was just a little gay...

  • :S I'm a huge fan, but I really miss the old videos, the stories, the way they were told, the style... they were deep, funny, creative without being over analytical like the latest ones.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • You can see his finger's behind the drawings if you look close enough!

  • why can I only upvote once :(

  • Jeb don't need no fancy book learnin'

  • That's so deep and it really shows how intelligent you are.

  • It's often ironic how the words "liberal" and "conservative" are thrown around in the US. Example: libertarian free-market philosophy is known in most parts of the world as "neo-liberalism", but is known as "neo-conservatism" in the US because the word "liberal" is commonly associated with anti-corporate hippie drum circles. It's kind of like how most of the world calls dance clubs "discotheques" or "discos", but we call them "nightclubs" because we're trying to forget the 70's Disco music era.

  • Sir, u make your videos have life in it. amazing way of drawing and telling a story

  • and as I always, I couldn't agree more, is like you have a camera inside my head. it's just a thought :)

  • Independent Party for the win.

  • Brilliant as always. I love you, sir :)

  • hey buddy, quit hoggin' all the commen sense! Some people are in dire need for it.

  • well-said and made...

  • It's a good thought and I share this sentiment. Unfortunately to many people refuse to look for common ground. I run into it a lot here on You Tube. It is sad.

  • Comment removed

  • With your assumptions, the entire video was the basis on how we are NOT as polarized as we think. yet you still think we are and think in terms of left vs right, red vs blue, dem vs repub and conservative vs liberal. looks like you made your own point, but learned noting from it.

  • @scalp340 We are not as polarized as the politikans would like us to think we are. We all want a place to live, decent edukation, and best health care for our loved ones. We also like to be in some what control of our lifes & economics n so on n so forth.

  • I don't hate America, other than the fact you call 0:50 that Football.

  • @jakk18 Oh things like that annoy ignorant people. It's okay, you might grow up one day.

  • @jakk18 Soccer isn't football. trolololo

  • @papapudding I can see this video despite having nothing to do with football erupting into some huge argument. WHAT HAVE I DONE !?

  • @jakk18 and you probably think the Falklands belong to the UK.

  • @darksidehero The Falklanders do, and that's the only opinion that counts.

  • @darksidehero The Falklands belong to whomever the people on the islands want to belong to. To the best of my knowledge (I'm no expert), the people want to belong to the UK. However, if the people want to join Argentina or succeed from the UK and become their own country that's fine by me.

P.S. My other comment was a joke. I actually like the America, American Football and Association Football.

  • What kind of hippy-commie-nazi-bleeding heart talk is this, boy?

    Just kidding. Great vid.

  • Haha wow I've been saying this stuff for ages. Especially the 'sports team' analogy. Glad I found someone who shares the same thoughts.

  • @ SebSome; I disagree. I think that voicing your opinion and contributing do the debate in a creative way (such as Lev is doing) is not only expressive but may help others to shift their world views. Such work should not be underrated.

  • I love you....

  • Lev, did you ever make a commercial for common sense? I just saw a commercial on tv with your art style and my mind was blown. I know it's your art but could you confirm?

  • Lev for president.

  • I'm not American but i like the American politicy system and I think it,s very creative

  • @brrook2010 Can creative be another word for tricky or clever? Because that's how I think of it.

  • Honestly I think the problem is lawyers. Look at the job distribution of politicians. The VAST majority of them have a law background. What else do you expect than endless arguing and vilification when you draw from a pool of people whose job is basically to argue for the sake of arguing. The vast majority of legal cases are won by the side that puts the best case forward, not the ones who are actually right in ANY sense.

  • @SebSome Dear SebSome- The way I look at it is this: I know damn well I'm not saying anything particularly new here. Yes, a lot of people are thinking this, but many feel like they are alone in doing so. I think there are little squeaks popping up these days that share this sentiment. The more squeaks there are, the more people feel like they are not alone, and that's a powerful thing.

This video is a drop in the bucket, but I really wanted to be in that fucking bucket.

    -L

  • @AgentXPQ I have been folowing you for some time now. You are my hero. Im realy glad that you take it a bit over the edge of "mare existence" and achualy care about theese kind of stuff. Yes. everyone knows this already. But thats usualy the case with theese short storys. We all already know, we just need some one to draw us a picture and explain it to us many, many times before it finaly sinks in.

Kinda sad when you think about it. Peace.

  • Comment removed

  • @AgentXPQ I truly am sorry for what I said. I think I'm just jealous that you found such a productive way to vent your opinions while gaining social rewards. This is a very original idea and I'm happy I stumbled across your videos because they are very relatable and very well done. However, I don't believe you made this video to make people feel accepted. Rather to express you're own opinion and then justify it with that.

  • @AgentXPQ I'm also kind of angry about how your viewers are following your opinions like sheep. This isn't necessarily your fault, but you should know that when you express such strong opinions to people that respect you then they will be happy to be spoon fed whatever you say. Just be careful.

  • @SebSome are you sure that the people does not already have the same opinions as agentXPQ. The people who subscribe are usally those who agree, the ones that have a different view would most likely think this is boring and at best 'interesting and wierd'. Believing the viewers follows his opinions like sheep is a bad/wrong statement. It's mostly people who have the same or similar opinions that follows him.

  • @HDErikBlog Yeah you're right. I'm just trying to defend myself because I was being a dick, I know I'm wrong. I do still think that some people follow his opinion without thinking but clearly there's a lot more people who can think for themselves, like you.

  • @AgentXPQ Day 5 of the search for SebSome's comment: Been at my computer for days now, running low on food, lost my job, must keep moving.

  • @SebSome Wow, what a whiner!

  • @mxp299l Sorry

  • In Europe 90% of our politicians say the same thing, 10% are nationalists who think they are the best and the rest are subhuman. But all the politicians who say the same thing, when it comes to sorting out the European economy, refuse to cooperate because foreigners are subhuman. So nobody votes for the nationalists but our economy is run according to their prejudices. Sort that one out.

  • good stuff right here

  • Quality

  • 2:54 Regarding political compromise, the Pew Research Center did a poll in 2010 asking Americans, "Is Compromise a Virtue?" The results by party affiliation:

    Republicans: Yes: 33%; No: 62%

    Independents: Yes: 40%; No: 53%

    Democrats: Yes: 54%; No: 39%

If you believe that compromise is necessary for a working political system, then you can not believe that both sides are equally to blame.

  • @WG55 A 60-40 split is bad even if the 60% is on the good side. As a democrat it is really tempting to look at these numbers and say, "Yeah, the republicans need to be better." But really, this is exactly what the video is talking about. Not a single one of those sets of numbers is acceptable.

  • The problem is that there are only two real parties in the US.

That makes only sense if there are just two opinions or just two possible ways to do politics.

  • Well, one of the reason politicians act this way, is because they might lose voters if they act differently. It`s all because of the people who vote. If democrats would say that the Republicans actually have done something right, people who usually voted for Democrats just MIGHT vote for Republicans the next time. Therefore, everyone gets scared of that possibility and keeps on the "they are wrong, we are right". To change everything, we first would have to change the people who vote

  • I think I love you.

  • I agree, part of the issue is that people are treating us like there are two Americas, there are no sides, and there shouldn't be. We have people with differing views, but it really shouldn't stop us from just getting things done. Indeed people in politics rarely listen to the others near them and yield when they hear a better idea. I know however it will be hard to change since you have to be charismatic to really get anything, and mooch money to self-promote.

  • How is that half-assed?

  • Both parties are corrupt as hell. So don't take pride in saying "Oh I'm a Democrat, Republicans are idiots" or vice versa. They're the EXACT same crap. And the only reason Ron Paul is running as a Republican is because media would never give independents exposure.

  • If only people could just put their differences aside and quit acting like squabbling children.

  • i never noticed his hand in the back of the paper!!! 2:53 left hand corner

  • Someone told me once that America wasn't going to shit and that it is just slowing down and is progressing at the same speed as the rest of the world. Though I still am optimistic for the future, especially in an age where information thrives.

  • congress is composed of both the senate and house of representatives...you kind of said senate twice and mixed up congress with t.h.o.r......hahaha thor....but i forgive you because you're cool.

  • I find that your voice changes from video to video; it's kind of interesting.

  • the essence of leadership is to find a movement and then get in front of it.

  • brilliant

  • "I wanna be a politician when I grow up!"

    *watches video*

"Acctualy nevermind. Politicians seem like assholes."

  • Praise Jesus for you. My thoughts exactly.

  • "i don't wanna be taxed for no education, cuz Jeb don't need no fancy pants book learnin' " O-M-G. I CANNOT BREATHE.....that is sooo hilarious!

  • Ok YouTube wasn't letting me comment... But now it's working....

3:23 - 3:25 Come on.. You can do itt...

    3:26 Damn.. So close.

  • FUCK YOUTUBE WONT LET ME COMMENT

  • Wow. As a card carrying conservative (even though I am Canadian) I have to say that was really insightful. This whole right and left thing is getting really out of hand, neither side is willing to admit mistakes within their own group and ergo there is no way to improve.

  • Life ain't black and white

  • What's funny is that no one holds themselves responsible for the condition of their lives, which was one of the main points of this video, people are writing "politicians suck" etc. Everyone wants to elect someone who will fix all of their problems; "it's Bush's fault" "its Obama's fault" NO its mostly your fault. Some things were the result of bad policies but mostly it was the result of people's bad personal decisions. I know my life has gotten better in the last 3 years.

  • Statler and Waldorf at 1:56

  • I love you.

  • You're right Lev, this was not as concise as what Chris Rock said, but it's still darn incisive...or am i just saying that because i blindly believe in everything you say? Damn politics...it's everywhere.

  • democrats. they're socialists and kind of gay.
