wow. i love how he couldn't get this going in december at the nokia theater with like a thousand jillion people there. but with a small crowd at the hotel cafe it worked perfectly. just shows how special intimate settings are with real fans there, not just bandwaggoners. wish i could have been there. glad john still plays venues like this. it's refreshing. thanks for posting the vids. they're all great.
In the middle of the song you can hear him say, "I dare you to sing a lot and get as nervous as I am. If you got back into plain clothes after wearing pajamas, you'll know this line." He twittered about the show 2 hours before it started, and thats how everyone found out about it. So most of us were fans. Then we all just grooved, it was cool how he played off of us like that and we all just knew when to stop.
